Not only is Taiwan NOT NATO it is not even recognized as a nation by many. US attacked Afghanistan and Iraq plenty of allies chose not to join. Since those invasions, old alliances have become even more frayed. Self interest and risk will be paramount. Iran sure lots would join, low risk high reward. China? no way. Nations need the Chinese. but we also had a very active resistance movement that performed hits on the nazis.
and after the war, the collaborators were severely shunned and their political party outlawed.

Taiwan battle has very few body count. It's similar to how Russia took back Crimea from Ukraine and how Azerbaijan took back Nagorno Karabakh from Armenia. The vast majority of Taiwan army surrender instead of fighting to death.
