The relationship between India and China are bound to improve as the China faces a similar hot neighborhood around her. Peace dividends are necessary. Perhaps the first step was Modi sending his national security advisor to discuss the issues of "strategic" importance with China. I don't see a drastic shift in relationship anytime soon but we should remember that once US was bitter opponent of India being in Soviet Block and now they are partners. Pakistan should learn from history and start constructing a broad based and foremost, durable foreign policy. Our foreign policy is just confined to 8-10 countries (US,Afghanistan,India and China dominating it) and score predominantly confined to military. If Pakistan is to prosper and gain international image then we need to have at least 40-50 very good economic friends. There are no constant friends and foes in the world that's diplomacy 101.
