What's new

This is what happens when you blame India for human rights violation in UN !

You need to know what UN stands for. In your very Indian way you were acting as if the world which is actually represented by UN was oblivion to Indian violations of human rights.
i wasnt asking what the un stands for, i was asking if they ever formally condemned india in a resoution

.
OFC u are, each country gets to be one. The difference is with how many votes. Pak got 151 votes in 2017, India got 188 out of 193. That's the point.
Know the difference.
We focus on reaching the destination not on the extent of resources used to get there. Grow up! This ain't a d.ck measuring contest, India hasn't achieved anything extraordinary. Period

You were saying it was only Pakistan who had been voicing Indian violations of human rights and I showed you a report by UN. Now quit beating about the bush.

What I meant was has any country other than Pakistan openly condemned India in the UN? I have already posted an article about how many countries have actually opposed the report.

UN itself is representation of world community, when it points something out, it speaks for all the member states in official capacity. Countries unilateral opposition to the UN report means nothing, because the central authority to administer global affairs lies with UN not India's circle of friends.

You have a point, but what I was saying is that unless resolutions are passed condemning India, such reports are useless. Tell me, if Pakistan were to sponser a resolution condemning India for Human Rights violations, would it have the votes to pass it?

I am not privy with the procedure or the pertinent developments in this regard. The prominent 1949 resolution is there, it called for a plebiscite in Kashmir, but India refused to comply. Can Pakistan continue to use that against India? It sure can.

I suppose you're correct in that regard. I guess we will just have to see what happens. TBH I don't think the UN will ever take effective action against India, but it can be a good platform for Pakistan to spread its perspective and attempt to gain global sympathy, which India currently has for the most part. The million dollar question for Pakistan is when countries decide it is in their interest to support Pakistan diplomatically at the UN. If multiple countries start supporting Pakistan's position, that will be problematic for India. The problem for Pakistan is most countries have good relations to India, and would not want to risk them over something so sensitive to India. As I said, we will just have to wait and see what happens. Anyway, it was good talking to you.
