Imagine this happening in Indian parliament. Indian member parliament agreeing with someone like Sheikh Rasheed on Kashmir. He would be lynched right in that parliament. This is the reason Indian soldiers are not dying like our soldiers

Had it not been for the Afghan Taliban then the indians and americans would have STILL been carrying out terrorist activities against Pakistan.........NOT retreating as defeated and vanquished nations.

They have support in print media especially English ones. Dawn, ET and Mir shakeel ul Rehman network fully backs them. VoA and western diplomats provide them cover. Having said this, land from their feets is getting thinner with American exit. Afghanistan, under US, was their strategic depth where they can always hide (for e.g. Gulalai Ismail who escaped Pakistan via Afghanistan to US).

Establishment thought these rascals will be neautralized if they are brought in into main stream politics like ANP and allowed them to have 2 MNA seats but looks like these paid agents will not change. So I ain't seeing PTM wining even a single seat in KP next time.

In the end, the bottomline is that he got elected by his constituency. He can speak, that's what the Parliament floor is for. None of what he said is illegal, or worthy of treachery. Can it cause bad image? Sure.
Can it be used for propaganda by enemies? Sure.

But, there's no better way to kill propaganda than to hit it with the truth. If our system is so flimsy that anyone can accuse us of supporting Taliban with arms, and we have nothing to show against it, then our system needs to be revamped.

It's time anyways, either there's going to be chaos in Afghanistan and we will need it to help us in stopping the refugee influx... or there will be peace in Afghanistan, and we will need it to help us in sending the refugees back.

Democracy is not a system that is natural to our system/culture/traditions, especially Parliamentary system. A presidential system working within a single unit structure is more my cup of tea with hyper local representation.
