Touche. I think, at present, our problem isn't that our laws, or our constitution isn't "Islamic"; it's more that such laws aren't enforced, leading to moral decay. Our constitution is as Islamic as it might need to be, falling just short of Shariah.
These blasphemy laws need to be abolished. People miss-use it a lot... Just look at the Peshawar University case.

I must agree. There are certain things that need changing quickly (the Hudood Laws being case in point). Let's just hope we act on logic rather than emotion.

Maulanas and their thirst for power will never end.
It is because of them that politics is discussed in mosques and obviously people are misled.

How can a person be a Maulana if he is more interested in worldly power...?
Power is a very addictive drug when you are off it after a really long time the withdrawal hits you like a truck

. . . .
Except for the article that says only Muslim can become PM or president of Pakistan, anything else that is specific to Islam?

Anything which directly negates the Quran apart from 2 or three which are debated most frequently

Reminds me of Voltaires "the holy roman empire is neither holy nor roman nor an empire" haha. The exception is that this time the comment came from a corrupt, blood sucking leech who has nothing positive to contribute and can only rant.

.
we need to go back to Jinnah's original vision of a secular and inclusive Pakistan. No more Mullah-ocracy.
