i grew up watching her. she is somewhat good actress not that bad. i really would give her points for her activation to get big roles specially in Urdu dramas though some informed people we in Peshawar never liked that kind of Activation. but this is showbiz this is how it works.

She is a good host but she is not cut out for acting in my opinion........I have watched her in few episodes of Sang-i-marmar, and i think she is doing acting for many years now as i have also seen her in the film Khuda Kay liye

she is originally from Afghanistan but been here since many decades. she started as pashto drama actress and later grabbed some Urdu dramas from different stations in Pakistan. i am not sure but now she is a Pakistani.

She herself says that on a show she hosts on Khyber TV, she is from Kunduz. Also on her official facebook page "Born in Kunduz and raised in pakistan" in biography section (unable to post the link of the page due to limited posts)

She was born in Kunduz as per her bio. The kids who were born in Pakistan and never spend a second of their life in Afghanistan are getting kicked out. It is unjust to allow her just because she is a celebrity.
