The World’s 20 Most Dangerous Countries for Foreigners

The list is based on the World Economic Forum’s Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report for 2017. Don't shoot the messenger

You need a reality check ... India ended up 114th on the list (of 136), so there is nothing to be proud of .... And only Terrorism and violence were considered, other crimes excluded .... So, yes, Pakistan and India are equally dangerous for tourists ...
India ias 3rd most dangerous country in world after Afghanistan and Iraq

No
But this poster only open threads on negativity, if am not wrong he put once Melbourne dangerous place to live.
Why not Afghanistan in it Why Iraq is missing why put Thailand there? I visit various time in Thai day and night it’s safer than NY.

Who IS he, anyway? We could all do with less negativity; there's too much of it anyway.

Melbourne as a dangerous place to live? Well, OK, my country manager booked me into a Holiday Inn (the cheap version; it's called Holiday Inn something something) at King's Cross, Sydney. Now THAT could have been dangerous :P

.
We have over 20 million Bangladeshis. Dont spread fake data. Its 2 crore+.
Plus there are Tibetians, pakistanis, Afghans, Lankans, Persians, Israelis, Rohingyas etc etc...
We have absorbed severals as our citizen. You can ask your own Adnan Sami. He will explain how India has the biggest heart of the world.

Adnan Sami was a British national and now Indian.

. .
Was Afghanistan better than Pakistan in 2017??? This list is crap

This is a list of 136 countries which are international tourist destinations ... Since when did war torn countries like Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq etc. become tourist destination ?? What are you on about ?

No, i ment 30million when i said lakh, minority refugees near the chickens neck ? Are you kidding me ? Its a miracle that we even let them stay

Cross check what you post. Every country in the world has refugees so this is not anything unique your country is doing.

Last time i check it was 2 million

The source was wrong the same way your 30 lakh or million crap was
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengalis_in_Pakistan

They came because Pakistani military 3million+ genocided & 400 thousand ra*ped in 71 war . Rest kept migrating because India is better than a country that just had a civil war

This is all crap spread by Indians and Bengalis. I don't believe this at all. I give a F*ck to it. I am happy that we are alone and that country is no more with us.
It is indian army who raa*pes women in Kashmir not our army.

Again Afghan mess is your doing & Pakistan is a dangerous country to begin with especially in the 80-90s when it just got out of funding proxies
, back them your ppl were claiming Afghanistan as a ally , its no one but Pakistans fault if you two are not allies anymore

Bangladesh mess was your doing so don't do randi-rona about bengalis. :D :D Pakistan supported by the world fought that war. Pakistan was never a dangerous country, the dangerous country is yours who have kept Kashmir forcefully and pellet gunning citizens. More than 100 thousand killed since 1989 by your armed forces. About a million soldiers are there to impose writ of your government. Shame

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_abuses_in_Jammu_and_Kashmir

Nope , it was strategic . Still is, the only reason we still haven't fenced west Bangladesh & haven't sent them back is because we need friendly ties with Bangladesh.

Strategic ??? If that was strategic than Afghan was more strategic. Khalistan and Jammu Kashmir liberation is also strategic. I don't give a damn about your friendly or bad ties with Bangladesh. Whatever China is doing in Dokhlam is also strategic.

Why do i care , I'm talking about the present facts .

When you talk about something in a larger perspective than its history is first reviewed. No country give entry to others without visa. There is no visa free entry for Bangladeshis in India too.
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...angladeshi-nationals/articleshow/37110011.cms

There were moiest terrorist all over nepal & north east thanks to china , they all were crushed 40 years ago.

In the above line you told me that you are talking about present facts and in this line you are saying me that Nepal used to have terrorists 40 years ago??? Are you high??? :D :D :D

Again talking about the present not some 30 year old non existent glory days

If you know how to read what is written I stated "3 million Afghans are living in Pakistan since 1980 so it means starting from 1980 as of today 3 millions afghans are living in Pakistan".

Please go ahead and argue seriously. As far as I know, no Indian had anything to do with it. Only a serious, clinically significant obsession with India and with Indians could have led to that conclusion.

Have a great evening.

Sir,

I presented a fact regarding terrorism fatalities which since the start of 2018 is high in India compare to Pakistan. Its just one thing If I go ahead than I will expose everything. Care to read my comments from the start.

Fair enough. Now the last year, 2017, was exceptionally quiet, and this year, there have been only two months gone by. Let me read through your earlier comments and get back to you.

So is Nigeria, Kenya, Ukraine, Bangladesh Jamaica and Congo better than Pakistan? Absolute shit

I am in 2018 so I will talk about 2018. In February 2017 Pakistan launched Operation Radd ul Fasaad against internal insurgents which have destroyed each and every terrorist hiding in internal areas of Pakistan. In 2018 only Balochistan has faced 1-2 bombings killing 15-18 people which is because of its open border to Afghanistan which we are fencing.

Was 2017 peaceful in jammu & kashmir since India consider it an internal part of India?

Pakistan actually ranks better than Nigeria, Bangladesh and Congo on the overall list (i.e Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index) .. It's only the Travel and Tourism Safety and Security index on which Pakistan (quite understandably) ranks poorer than the aforementioned countries

Pakistan is way better than those other countries in both lists and should be. Anyways Pakistan will be much better in 2018 list which I am sure about.

Yes, Pakistan has improved it's ranking in the 2017 Index and this trend (hopefully) will continue.

And it's not just "Safety and Security" that is responsible for our poor ranking

The worst ranking for Pakistan pointed out by the report was visa requirements where ranking was 135 out of 136 countries.

The government’s prioritization of travel and tourism industry was ranked at 132 among the 136 countries surveyed by the report

The sustainability of travel and tourism industry development got the ranking of 128. Effectiveness of marketing and branding to attract tourists got the ranking of 125.... and so on

.
These are my views, feel free to disagree:

It's just not terrorism that would keep me (and maybe a lot of others) from Pakistan.

Fact 1: Look around on this forum -If you are Hindu, Jew and Christian, there is so much hate. In particular, religious hate is scary! Now imagine walking the streets in Pakistan when people know you are non Muslim. No ways! Not blaming everyone in Pakistan but I'm sure one cannot roam the streets carefree like in any other country if you are a non Muslim and Hindu or Jew.

Fact 2: Pakistan was created on the basis of religion. One among the many reasons were their inability to live side-by-side with Hindus. Even today, religious minorities are discriminated. They openly advertise only Christians and Hindus can apply to a toilet-cleaning job. Now, will you visit a country with such values? Not me!

Fact 3: Just like the rest of S Asia, infection and diseases are common here with a greater intensity. Given the apathy from the government in controlling such diseases, it's a dampener for anyone travelling with family when you know you can catch a dangerous infection at any time. This holds true for most of S Asia also but recent reports on how Pakistan has not been able to get rid of Polio is just sad!

Fact 4: Recent incidents on Chinese nationals. China probably enjoys Pakistani support more than any other national on this planet. Recent incidents involving Chinese is trouble some, It may very well be isolated, not attached to a single nationality, an opportunity crime - but it still sounds dangerous. I, as a tourist like to be like a local, walking streets without worry.

Fact 5: Terrorism.

As I said, my views only!

I did go through your earlier comments, and I wish I hadn't.

Most of them seem to be simple denial. "..So is Nigeria, Kenya, Ukraine, Bangladesh Jamaica and Congo better than Pakistan? Absolute shit..." What is useful about this comment, that one should read it?

Whenever someone tries to tell you why the original comment was made, there is precious little effort visible to try and understand what he is telling you, only instant and forthright denial. So, fine. It's a free world, and you are free to deny whatever you want, however many times you want. Just don't labour under the impression that you are saying anything sensible or that you are persuading those unconvinced that you have a point.

Whenever it isn't ad hominem abuse of the poster whom you don't like, it's 'whataboutery'; "Pardon, your shirt is unbuttoned." "Oh, yeah? Your zip looks like it's about to come down." You mentioned Kashmir; this thread is not about Kashmir, it's about you. Turning everybody's attention away from a report to all the possible alternatives that that report could have mentioned isn't very effective; the report stays in print, it continues to be read by people, many of whom know nothing about PDF, and know even less about someone on it who posts under an anonymous name.

So what exactly is your point? The report's authors are mischievous, the report is wrong, the organisation putting out the report is inconsequential, the people reading the report are idiots, the people writing about the report, here and elsewhere, are stupid, the people who don't leap up like lions to tear it to bits, and who don't appreciate the unprecedented and unique effort taken up in your internal anti-terrorist action are ill-informed and unpatriotic.

At the end of the day, the report will keep on getting read, and people will keep on forming impressions about the countries reported, as they are reported, and without fancy explanations about why these impressions are actually the opposite of what they should have been. And you will keep on, like King Canute, ordering the tide to go back.

Good luck. Don't wait for the water to get to your neck.

Ya , India is a big country , it comes with the package . Your bff china ia ranked 95 . The difference is in juggernauts , just because the border region is tense with sponsored proxy wars , doesn't mean it will affect the mainland
so there is nothing to be proud of .... And only Terrorism and violence were considered, other crimes excluded .... So, yes, Pakistan and India are equally dangerous for tourists ...

India is rankes 40 in World Economic Forum’s Travel and Tourism,
