The so autonomous function to command/direct/assist and advice friendly units in air, ground and at sea? This is what a typical AWACS is supposed to do. Maybe its actual task is different.

You did not answer @Neptune question.

The C in AWACS stand for control, unless that UAV have a remote datalink system to control other asset, usually a UAV cannot act as a AWACS, at most if they can perform Jamming function, they can use as an AEW drone, but what you are describing seems like a normal recon/armed drone....
