At noon on June 18, Reuters announced that US Senator Marco Rubio proposed an amendment to prevent Huawei from passing damages through the US Patent Court. The news quickly swept the screen on social media, and believed that this move refreshed the bottom line of the United States and subverted the US credit base.

According to the legislative amendments seen by Reuters, companies in the US government’s specific watch list, and undoubtedly including Huawei, will not be allowed to provide legal remedies related to US patents under the US legal framework, including Prohibition of patent infringement.

If the amendment is finally approved by the US Congress, Huawei's patents already applied for in the US will be invalidated. According to Fairview's IFI Claims Patent Services, Huawei has applied for 3,195 patents in the United States from 2017 to 2019. Pieces.

The reason for this is that Huawei launched a licensing fee request for more than 230 patents to Verizon, the largest US telecom operator, in February this year, totaling more than $1 billion. It is understood that although Verizon is not Huawei's customer, Verizon's technology and equipment provided by its suppliers involve the use of Huawei's patents when purchasing core network equipment, wired infrastructure and IoT technology.

Huawei needs to demonstrate they abide by American patent laws if they want to benefit from it

.
Does he realize this amendment will cause China to do the same to American companies in China? As US has way more patents then China currently, US will come out the loser.

What the hell are you talking about?
Chinese companies currently pay tens of billions to licence US patents.

It's like saying Intel needs to prove they abide by Chinese law before we enforce their rights. Legally US is now applying guilty until proven innocent, only smart yindoos will agree to this.

Another thug in the congress is just reminding the world they are the undisputed ROGUE state.
