People here don't know much shit, let alone history.Indeed. Lee Kuan Yew once said before, the US presence in Asia benefits everyone in the region, including China.
Without US presence, the region will have to devote more resources to security. Japan and South Korea, which are already nuclear threshold states, will start nuclearizing without the US's nuclear umbrella.

If we look back on the world being prop with different regional power, they all wanted to rule the world, which mean they are going to be fight it out, there are more than 1200 wars between 1800-1900. and less than 900 before US and Russia become the world superpower After 1945. And only around 50 wars are fought after Soviet Union dissolution.

As I said, I don't want to put my tax dollar to defend Japan, South Korea and et el, I am all for US leave those place, the ground reality is, once we do, they are going to armed to their teeth and expanding their military capability, most likely with nuclear weapon, and then China would have to figure out how they are going to deal with these two, along with India which will also be arming to the teeth now with Russia more or less being blog down with the war in Ukraine, that mean there are only one way India can get their weapon. That is from us.
It's naive and delusion to think if US leave Asia all those problems are going to go away.
It's sucks for wannabe next superpower like China, but then when you are Japan, and South Korea, the alternative of having US troops on ground is to expand their military expenditure for probably 3 to 5-fold. That's what the Chinese here are looking at, but then they will have you believe these country will simply kowtow to China once US is gone......That's kind of a wishful thinking.
