Federal Shariah court should order the use of the term Ryasat e Madina.

This episode further highlights nepotism, corruption and fassad being empowered under guise of nationalism.

Prosecution was booby trapped with technicalities as ever when poor are involved.

They don't even let the poor arm themselves now ever since WoT agenda was brought in by Elitist power brokers.

FAISALABAD: A day after police registered a case against a man and a woman on charges of thrashing a minor domestic help in Faisalabad, a district and sessions court granted post-arrest bail to the man.

Footage of torture of the girl identified as Sadaf, 11, had gone viral on social media on Saturday, showing a teenage boy, his mother and uncle, later identified as Rana Munir, slapping and pushing her in a street.

According to police, Sadaf was tortured after she had a scuffle with children related to Munir.

Madina Town police on Saturday registered a case against Munir and the woman. The case was registered on the complaint of Samina Nadar, Child Protection Officer (CPO) of the Faisalabad Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CP&WB) under sections 34 and 328-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Nadar said a citizen had called the CP&WB helpline on Saturday and also shared the torture footage. She said the incident took place on December 3.

Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Sohail Chaudhry had last night announced to have arrested Munir. However, Duty Judge Zulifqar Ahmed Sunday approved Munir’s request for bail against the surety bonds of Rs100,000.

Chaudhry said the girl was handed over to her parents. He further said justice would be dispensed to the girl.

These judges are the main culprits, police can never grant a bail

Police has nothing to do with Bail. They have to present the culprit in front of the magistrate/judge and then its up to the court. He has been released on bail not acquited of charges. Child protection can still hire a lawyer and pursue the case.

Child maid torture: Faisalabad court rejects suspect’s bail plea
Web Desk On Dec 7, 2020 Last updated Dec 7, 2020

FAISALABAD: A court on Monday turned down a bail plea of a woman in a case related to torture of a minor maid in Faisalabad’s Eden Valley housing scheme.

The court approved 14-day judicial remand of the suspect, named Samina.

Over the course of the hearing, a counsel, representing the woman, contended before the court that a suspect was granted bail in the case a day earlier. Dismissing charges against his client, he said the minor maid’s statement is on record with no torture marks found on her body.

A prosecutor stated that the police didn’t get the girl medically examined to ascertain whether she was beaten up or not. He said the victim is a minor, due to which any statement could be elicited from her under duress.

The court summoned the record of suspect Rana Munir, who was granted bail against a surety of Rs100,000 the other day.

On December 05, Madina Town police had registered an FIR against Rana Munir and Samina on charges of beating the minor after footage of them inflicting torture on the maid identified as Sadaf, 11, went viral on social media.

The footage showed a teenager, his mother and uncle Munir slapping and pushing and shoving the girl in a street. The minor was thrashed after she reportedly had a scuffle with Munir’s children.

The case was filed on the complaint of Samina Nadar, Child Protection Officer of the Faisalabad Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CP&WB) under sections 34 and 328-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Woman jailed over torturing child maid in Faisalabad threatens media
Web Desk On Dec 7, 2020 Last updated Dec 7, 2020

FAISALABAD: Samina Munir, who was sent to jail on Monday by a court over allegedly torturing a child maid, has threatened media with dire consequences over highlighting the case, which also involves her husband Rana Munir, ARY NEWS reported.

The woman suspect in the case was sent on a 14-day judicial remand today after the court turned down her bail plea in a torture case involving a young domestic helper, which was also captured by CCTV cameras.

According to details, as soon as she came out of the court after being sent to jail on judicial remand, Samina Munir threatened the media, saying that she would take revenge on them over playing a role in the case.

“You did a wrong thing and I will not spare you,” she said while hurling threats to the media representatives.

The lady further denied her involvement in the torture episode despite video evidence showing how brutally she thrashed the young maid over a fight between children.
“The woman in the video was someone else and I have nothing to do with it,” she said while blatantly denying the video evidence. She remained silent when asked as to who was the lady in the video if it was not her.

It is pertinent to mention here that on December 05, Madina Town police had registered an FIR against Rana Munir and Samina on charges of beating the minor after footage of them inflicting torture on the maid identified as Sadaf, 11, went viral on social media.

The footage showed a teenager, his mother, and uncle Munir slapping and pushing and shoving the girl in a street.
