Guys, managed to grab these images from a video dedicated to PAF's No 18 Squadron (Sharp Shooters). The detail shows just another day at the office for this dashing unit.

Curious is not the word you use to post this.

And yes, they can bring down Predator quite easily, just like a F-16 or JF-17 can.

That was an F-16 which is capable of day/night interceptions.
F-7's are better suited to (but can carry out at night) daylight interceptions..
their Grfio-7 radars are adept at picking out targets and slaving missile seekers to it.

I thought squadron has 16-18 planes in it but there are 20+ planes in first pic. Which is the other squadron beside 18th squadron?

Those are FT-5s of No 1 FCU. (Rahbars/Leaders)

The Standard of No. 18 Squadron with the Battle Honours "Sargodha 1965" and "Chamb 1971".

The Squadron No/ 18, operate F-7P, Mirages and previously Sabers!

now if you see this image:

notice that the planes parked in line on right side of image are F-7s, but the ones in middle and on left are neither Mirages nor the F-7. they look something like Saber and are most probable the FT-05s and not belong to this Squadron!

By the way, the Squadron No 18 have been renamed War Hawks and is based at PAF Base Rafiqui

The image is of PAF Base Minawali, reportedly largest facility of Chinese made aircraft outside China. Amongst others, No 18 shares the base with No 1 Fighter Conversion Unit (FCU) and those FT-5 belong to this unit.
I believe No 19 Squadron, another F-7 equipped unit is called War Hawks/ Sherdil. !!

Currently only 17 and 23 Squadrons operate the PG version.

In due course, the F-7P units are in line to be replaced by JF-17 Thunder.
