some people think that the ottomans rule is something islamic and they are willing to be part of the ottoman empire over their own country

The Ottoman Empire was a Muslim Empire - I'm proud of their achievements & sad for their demise just as I have similar feelings for numerous other Muslim Empires that have dotted the Earth from Egypt to Andalusia and from South Asia to Central Asia.

That's like calling the Achemenid Persian Empire a "zoroastrian empire." Zoroastrianism was state religion. Islam was the state religion of the Ottoman Empire. At the end of the day, Turkey was the Ottoman Empire just like Iran was the epicenter of the Achemenid Persian Empire or all the other ones that came after.

You can be proud of their achievements, that's fine, but it's Turkey that holds claim to those achievements, not your mumbo jumbo caliphate bs.

There was no Turkiye back then just as there was no Persia back then; only Turkic & Persian Civilizations. And no one is denying the Turkic heritage of the Ottoman Empire nor the Persian heritage of post-Islamic Persian Empires. Its just that those Empires was more into Pan-Islamism than Ethno-Linguistic Nationalism per se it is ludicrous to look at them through the lens of a Nation State.

So far as who holds claims to those achievements - the Ottomans & those Persian Empires do; neither their ancestors nor their progeny because achievement doesn't run in blood !

Germans was the only ones who took actively part in conflict on our side in WWI, i dont wanna start a flamewar but muslim world was fighting against us back then, maybe you should read a little bit history and see how Turks was fighting for survival, it wasnt Turks who abandoned the muslim world but the opposite.

Absolutely agreed. It was all Muslim arabs who rose up against Ottomans and left them to the conspiracies of the imperialists. The great Turkish nation rose from this disaster.

Look at arabs now. Still they have no peace, they are their biggest enemies. If its not Israel, its sectarianism they have fanned that's destroying them from within.
