The next war, alliance, regime change, merger of countries in the region (geopolitical guesswork and predictions)

So in regions that are never boring (Middle East and Africa) when it comes to news and conflict, what is the next realistic conflict?

Will we see regime change, country mergers or new alliances emerging? Or even new countries emerging on the map?

If I am not wrong, the last new country to emerge was South Sudan in 2011.

Will old enemies make out and fall in love? Old friends turn against each other?
