The Nefertiri conflict between germany and egypt

Those artifacts belong humanity and not egypt for example. Today egypt has zero connection to this past egypt. But humanity has . It is our duty to protect it. It was watched through the chaos in egypt. In worst case troops had to be send into egypt to secure the most important artifacts and bring them to safety.
What do you mean the modern Egyptians don't have any connection with the Egypt of the past? If that’s the case do you have any right to claim connection with Ancient Rome? Which I'm guessing you do by your avatar.

Well i´m half italian. Rome is our capital and the roman empire our ancestors. We feel connected to them. Can read their letters and scriptures.

Most egyptians ar muslim and don´t care about old egypt. Many even want destroy it.

And a basic fact is, that the roman emperors were also Pharao of egypt. Our first emperor Augustus was the one who made egypt private property of rome and himself Pharao. Evry roman emperor was also Pharao of egypt. so egyptian history is also our history.

@MarkusS You need to finally give them back to Egyptians, but not now, that they suffer from social and political turbulences, and cannot make sure about its security.

about the sky disc thing
that i have no problem with
because the Romans depict the germanic tribes as nothing but savage barbarians and that is the popular perception
Germany should be confident enough of its own history and highlight that instead of having its museums show Egyptian history and claim a part in that heritage

We have gigantic museums that deal mostly with german history but as a worldleading nation we also have museums that deal with other cultures.

The only mayan scipture for example. The Codex Dresden. Is in Dresden Germany.

We also have an islamic museum in Berlin which houses the entire palace from calif Al-Walid II

Is it really genuine or is it fake? How they have transported the whole palace? :what:

It is the original. It was transported like the Pergamon temple and ishtar gate too. Cut into small parts and transported with ship, then reassembled here

Latin is not a widely spoken or read language were only a few people have any real command of it.

Just because some fringe nut jobs want to destroy it doesn't mean it’s not their history were most Egyptians are proud of and my point is that your logic against modern Egyptians could be used for many people including Italians of today.

I have no idea about the closeness of Italian and Latin, but my point was that your statement can be used on anyone. How do you know that you're descended from the people of Ancient Rome?

Can you really be sure especially considering how much human movement has taken place in that part of the world southern Europe/Middle East for hundred or even thousands of years. Who knows you might be related to people you like to call savages and primitives.:)

He means they were 'true Egyptians' when they were Christian and under influence of European Empires but ever since they became Muslims under Arab Empire they no longer were true Egyptians. :D

highly doubtful considering my family name, place of origin (Lucca) and profession of my ancestors. Its more likely that my roots are mixed etruskan and roman and germanic.
