I was there and it was a great event. Very hopeful and optimistic, much different from the campaign. The most powerful moment was right after the Governor took the oath when Florida air force national guard jets flew right above the capitol, officially marking the beginning of a new era.

What new era?

An era where the voice of the people is heard. It has only been three days into his governorship and Gov. DeSantis has already suspended a corrupt and incompetent sheriff, something the previous governor lacked the balls to do.

what is the big deal about suspending the sheriff ? I am not sure why the old governor choose not to do it.
In any case the new senator for Florida is the former governor.
