Christians preach about the teachings of Jesus Christ and proudly carry a Book that a lot of times goes against his teachings.

Christians believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ present in New Testament. All these verses mentioned in the video are from Old Testament. Christians do not follow the teachings of Old Testament. Old Testament has more in common with Quran than New Testament.
Its also written in Old Testament not to eat pork. You must be knowing that most of the Christians in west love their pork sausages and hamburgers.
Old Testament is considered to be the contextual historic document of the times which is used by Christians to show that the Messiah prophesied in those books was Jesus.
Jesus himself repudiated the violence of the Old Testament, for eg.in (Deut.19.21)— despite his belief that this collection of writings was inspired. Jesus taught, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also (Mt 5:38-39).
