The first electronic bike completely made in Pakistan

I was watching a video of Azad Chaiwalla and he visited a factory in Lahore where a company has manufactured an electric motorbike from scratch. They've even got an R&D section working on Graphene batteries. I was impressed to see this. Should be hitting the market soon.

I didn't realise anyone was doing this sort of work in Pakistan, but it's exactly the type of work we need people to be doing. I wish them all the best.

@313ghazi Sir G, thanks for sharing. Very very encouraging - Positive news about Pakistan rarely shared by electronic media. The whole day I used to heard negativity about Pakistan.
At last and at least some fresh air, but thru social media.

For something made from Pakistani materials, does ~80 km/hr (he said testing reached up to 120 km/hr) and does 0-60 in 9 sec (kinda high), isn't it expensive at 150k pkr?? And he said it'll go to 200k pkr after the initial sale of 3k units...

Either way, a praise worthy effort!

Pakistan is pretty far ahead in Graphene Super Capacitor batteries. WRL technologies makes them.
Price is a huge factor right now but super capacitor batteries are the future for electric transportation as can be rapidly charged and discharged. Ideally suited for energy weapons as well.

Tbh not a big thing if they are not selling it and dont have a marketing department promoting it in Pakistan...

I worked on trying to setup a scooter factory assembling from knock down kits in Richmond, Canada.

Even that was hard.

Tell a newly hired worked, plug the wire harness with 4 connectors into the 4 corresponding components, and they still manage to miswire it, despite us ordering a harness with mechanically keyed connects which are not physically possible to connect the wrong way without serious physical effort. Yet people did.

If you are thinking this is too advanced then you really have no idea of the level of R&D work in Pakistan. The problem is such projects are limited in scale and the people working on them don't get due attention and appreciation from stupid elites.

Another thing I want to say is that this youtuber (Azad Chaiwala) has a habit of exaggerating things. (Though I won't blame him much on this issue since our chawal public won't listen to him if his channel doesn't have clickbaits). For example this 100% made in Pakistan claim is anything but reality and also we should not aim for 100% either. There is no other country who makes 100% of everything. Even economic superpowers US, China, Japan and Germany etc depend on other countries. We should opt for improved design products instead of just copy/paste manufacturing everything. Apple which is a US technical giant buys camera for their iPhone from Sony (a Japanese company) but this doesn't make Apple (or US) any inferior from Sony (or Japan). For several years, Iphone's CPU was made by their arch rival Samsung.

I know bahi but you need to find people who love doing such stuff... I have been always interested in tinkering and breaking toys which grew as I grew up.. now I have plans of building ev bike aswell as Car but first have to earn enough money

I bet the power is just around 5-7 kW. Right around the the size when a bike of this weight can reach 100km/h with rider of an average weight.

It's an average 150cc equivalent.

10kW is what you need to go any much significantly above 100km/h, that's a 250cc equivalent, but for that you need water cooling. Water cooling will add weight, cost, and reduce range.
