Hmm, why would they do this? Do you have more information or source about this?

İt's true, as far as İ know both organizations were heavily supported by the USSR back in the time.
İ'm assuming the old Sovjets had to do with it.

. .
Isnt the successor of PLO Hamas?

no, hamas is muslim brotherhood. on your earlier question, i'd say both asala and plo had marxist/leninist inclination and hagop hagopian, the founder of asala, had some good relations with palestinian political figures. tho, asala didn't receive that much funding from ussr.

Both fatah and Hamas, however the radical islamism from Hamas came after plo dropped support for asala. Perhaps Hamas was the one that didn't want to do business with them.

Mate plo, Syria and the sovjet union were the prime supporters of asala.

In the case of pkk it was Syria and sovjet union.

O yüzden bu Suriye'ye ve başındaki soysuz aile ye zırnık kadar acımıyorum.

plo dropped support for asala as a result of israeli occupation of lebanon in 1982 (or 1983, don't remember) and asala moved its camps to syria and greece. and also after asala's orly airport attack in 1983, in which 8-9 people died, majority of whom were french nationals, french government pressured plo to quit supporting asala. hamas was founded in 1987-88 and it's a sunni radical group. to that time asala was already non-functioning group. all of its 5-6 attacks between 1983-1986 were aimed at french. in light of that, its highly unprobable that radical islamist group would like to be in tandem with almost non-existent marxist oriented group.

on pkk, you're forgetting greece, eu, esp. germany (alman vakıfları olayı), and russia.

TROOPS SEIZE 10 TONS OF DRUG MATERIALS IN SOUTHEASTERN TURKEY

ISTANBUL – Turkish gendarmerie troops confiscated 210,000 cannabis plants, which could be used to produce 10 tons of processed hashish and 520 kilos of processed hashish, in the southeastern Turkish province of Diyarbakır on Aug. 2, according to a statement released yesterday.

The Diyarbakır Governorate said in a statement that gendarmerie troops accompanied with commando units stormed various rural locations in the province's Hazro district and detained seven suspects on charges of cultivating cannabis and possession of hashish. The confiscated drugs were destroyed.

The province has long been at the center of local drug production in Turkey. The terrorist organization PKK is accused of controlling the drug production and trade in the region. In July 2013, security forces had destroyed around 2 million cannabis plants in the province's Lice district in a major counter-narcotics operation. According to the intelligence reports detailing drug trade indicate that Lice is the terrorist organization's main base for the cultivation of cannabis used in drug production, a main source of income for the group. Counter-narcotics operations and tightened security measures led to a decline in profits from the drug trade in the first five months of 2014. In 2013, over 76 tons of hashish and 49 million cannabis plants were seized in Diyarbakır and its vicinity.

15 PKK rebels hand themselves in to Turkish authorities

This recent case has increased the number of former PKK fighters to hand themselves in to the security services at the border since May 21, 2013 to 272.

Fifteen members from Turkey's outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militant group have surrendered to authorities in the south-eastern province of Sirnak.

According to the province's governorship, the fifteen rebels handed themselves in at the Habur border crossing and are currently undergoing the necessary legal procedures.

This recent case has increased the number of former PKK fighters to hand themselves in to the security services at the border since May 21, 2013 to 272.

Late last year, outgoing Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was elected as Turkey's new president on Sunday, issued a bill paving the way for those PKK militants who haven't been involved in any crime to return home after laying down arms.

The Turkish government has been in talks with Abdullah Ocalan, the jailed leader of the PKK, since the end of 2012 to agree to a PKK pull-out from Turkey in return for increased opportunities for Turkey's Kurdish minority to have their voiced heard in politics.

What do you expect of people who are worshipping a leader who says ''my mother is also a Turk, i love Turks and im ready for cooperation with the sate'' after he got captured, they are all cowards when the shit hits the fan, even their hit and run so called guerilla tactic is actually a coward tactic.

It shows we are doing something wrong if PKK is more afraid of IS than TSK.
