THE END OF IRAQ: The Ugly Dilemma in Ramadi

Typical American oblivious to history. Iraqi army was disbanded after fall of Saddam Hussein, this army is something else entirely. It has new officers, new recruits, new doctrines, new everything else.

Thanks to what? Thanks to Maliki's disgustingly sectarian government, which sidelined the Sunnis, you meant?

There ARE incidents. US is just covering them up because it is the lesser evil. Shiite population is complaining about their kids being conscripted through force and Sunni population complaining about abuses.

did Iraq lose the will to fight and die after Saddam was disposed?

even though the army was disbanded and rebuilt and trained by the U.S doesn't explain how they are getting beat so badly.

they have the equipment and training.
they just lack heart and a cause it seems.

.
it's sad that iraqis don't have the will and morale to fight off these invaders.
why does it seems like ME militaries are just bad at tactics and motivating their men to fight and die for their country and loved ones??

what happened to huge battles and tactics like those of the Iran Iraq war?? did Iraq lose the will to fight and die after Saddam was disposed?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran–Iraq_War
During iran iraq war, Iraq army are filled with Sunni soldiers despite Sunni is only 30% of the total population while Irans soldiers are Shia.

Iraq Shia personnel has totally no combat experience previously.

While the Iraq Sunni who previously serve under saddam has mostly join ISIS.

Which is hardly surprising..? it's a well known fact the Shiites have no loyalty to anything except their Mullahs.

Worst and most idiotic ally ever? you decide.

Yeah right :omghaha: Lied the lie and believed it.

Just go read the congressional proposition of arming the different factions in Iraq independently, and you'll see that the Shiites are still the minority even after the post 2003 and 2006 Genocides.

I don't know when sectarianism started in Iraq but in Pakistan it was giving fruits just after conquest of Iran by Khomeini. Who wanted to transfer his revolution to other countries. So first target was obviously Pakistan, as all other Iranian neighborhood was made enemy.

.
Iraq working with Iran,Syria, and Russia is the only way they can survive.
They are already doing that and thats not helping in stopping ISIS from capturing more and more territory.

Indeed, the rise of Aytullahs in Iran set the chain of events in motion leading to where we stand today.

"Shia Militias" And stopped reading bullcrap

.
Sadr's Mahdi Army is trained and armed by Iran. Mahdi Army should be able to exterminate salafist IS scums. Seal the border with Saudi Arabia. Let not a soul in.
Shia militia announced its withdrawal in Aleppo to head back to Iraq after most of their soldiers died in Ramadi.

They're also trained by Iran so are you sure "Sadr's Mahdi army" is capable of getting it back?

More space of militia is there because the state is pretty much ****ed up in both Syria and Iraq. With ISIS getting hands on more and more military and economic resources everyday, they are growing strong. However, militias have their limitations, they will collapse ultimately if ISIS continues to grow unchecked. Had US pushed for a broad based government in Iraq, this could have been avoided, now it seems that the Iraq, as we know it, would ultimately cease to exist.

Why not partition Iraq? Don't understand this obsession to keep Iraq together. Certainly the people don't want to live together, too much sectarianism, too much blood has already been spilled. Let it die already so that peace can finally return.

Pakistan also sidelined its 'Salafi' population, so Taliban is a perfectly genuine movement and every action it does is justified. They are fighting for their rights. How do you like your argument being used against yourselves. I'm waiting for your excuses to counter it, but it won't work, because what you said about Iraq is a lie.

Who will take which part of Iraq would KSA will go for Sunni majority areas & Iran will go for Shia majority areas ... ??
What about Kurds ... who by all mean are acting like a sovereign state ... would Turkey will go for that region ??

If Iraq is divided among three independent states even that will not solve the problem ....

Who will rule the Sunni Iraq in the presence of ISIS ... ??
Independent Kurd government would pose threat to the sovereignty & integrity of Iran & Turkish States
'Shia Iraq' with vast oil reserves one day will/might become rival to 'Shia Iran'

So my dear situation is not as simple as you are suggesting ....

That has to be the most stupid backing of an argument in history. This is what i hate about Irani's. They try to pretend being fair and not supporting terrorism, but deep down they are as disgustingly sectarian as Saudis.
