A summit will be held soon to launch the peace process between the Palestinians and the Israelis after Egypt succeeded in the Palestinian reunification and there are consultations at the highest level to discuss the details and venue of the summit, likely to be between Sharm el-Sheikh and Washington, represented by the Palestinian side and the Israeli and US participation, as well as Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

Arab diplomatic sources revealed intensive contacts to arrange a regional summit to relaunch the peace process in the Middle East in the presence of all Palestinian and Israeli parties, in the context of investing the recent Egyptian moves, which succeeded in unifying the Palestinian ranks and concluding reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas.

The sources said that "there are contacts at the regional and international level, Cairo is the main axis, as the sponsor of the Palestinian-Palestinian agreement, which is calling for direct negotiations, according to the speech of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the United Nations.

The sources said that the discussion is now on the nature of the files on the agenda of this summit and how to activate them to reach a comprehensive peace, noting that there are consultations on the venue of hosting the summit and that it will probably be in Sharm el-Sheikh or Washington.

The sources stressed that the US administration has shown much interest in reviving the peace process, especially after the Egyptian state succeeded in concluding the Palestinian reconciliation and paved the way for direct negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis after meeting with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the sidelines of the General Assembly Of the United Nations, in which the President affirmed adherence to the two-state solution.

The sources added that the upcoming summit will witness a Saudi and Jordanian presence, on top of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and an Egyptian and American representatives, without disclosing the level of attendance of Cairo and Washington at the impending negotiations table.

These conferences are useless until Isreal stop occupying and building housing on these poor people land.
