No it wasn't just one kill, and Israel wasn't the only Arab nation involved in the fighting. here's a better source...O.K. WIKI it is.....
1973 Yom Kippur War
Main article: Yom Kippur War
During the war, sixteen Pakistan Air Force pilots volunteered to leave for the Middle East in order to support Egypt and Syria but by the time they arrived Egypt had already agreed on a cease-fire. Syria remained in a state of war against Israel so the PAF pilots became instructors there and formed the A-flight of 67 Squadron at Dumayr AB. One of the PAF pilots, Flt. Lt. Sattar Alvi flying a MiG-21 shot down an Israeli Air Force Mirage and was honoured by the Syrian government.[23][24][25]
Pakistan Air Force Combat Experience
A total of 10 Israeli fighters were downed by Pakistani air force pilots, who suffered zero losses.
I just used wiki because it's convenient.
The PAF is a good match for the Israeli air force, but I've said it before, today's reality makes it more difficult to predict a victor. Both nations have a ton of experience, and have advanced fighters (the total number matters little, because the ability to deploy a fighter is not the same as having a lot of fighters). Until Israel can get it's hands on the F-35, I don't agree that Israel would win outright in an air war; even if it does gain an air victory over PAF, the Israeli fleet would suffer quite a lot of losses.
Remember, the PAF is not like Iraq, or Syria. Even today, with it's modest fleet, it's still one of the best trained air forces in the world.
