Featured The Afghan government is building a militia force with Indian help: Hekmatyar

.
Oh simmer down that green eyed envy chap. You wish you could have such a reach. We’re only taking out these who hop along to plant IED’s to kill civilians . The whole term ‘no rest for the wicked’ is flipped on its head with these lot.
May you be blessed with all of the reach you wish for, just hope they don't reach for the necks of your own awam, as they have done quite often in the past.

Ever heard Ajit Duvall or Modi talk? even that Submarine dude or any of the ex servicemen writing Netflix sitcoms?
Heard of Robert Duvall, indeed a Great actor, but no Ajit Duvall doesn't ring a bell.

What? Afghan government is home to some of the most well equipped militias around the world and while many of them don the uniform of the ANA yet even if we ignore those that don the uniform, there exists plenty of well armed militia in Afghanistan under the control of warlords. India can offer them little apart from funds since they really dont need help with militia making nor with underground weapon dealings. This is why the country will always be home to conflict. The war lords run on war economy and they will make sure the war continues.

I am more interested in hekmatyar and his statement. looks to me like the old war lord wants us to supply him with funds and weapons to recreate the old army he had under his control with which he burned kabul to the ground. The three words Afghanistan, northern militia and India were made as if to get our attention that if we want our influence to survive then we must arm our allies and make our militias to counter them. In the 90s that would have gotten our attention however now, we are not interested. There is a reason we are fencing the border at a huge cost.

Hekmatyar found out that he gave way too much for too little and the country is internally a hub for warlords that are carving influence be it under the clothes of Islamic rule or democracy or ethnic unity.

Afghanistan is going to give Pakistan problems with or without India's help. After all, it's Afghanistan, a country of foment and torment for centuries. Just don't blame India for it.

LOL we will see about that. There is little you or Afghanistan can do about Pakistan.

Pakistan enjoys cordial relations with Afghan government. PTI led government of Pakistan has vowed to embrace the motto "Sky is the Limit" when it comes to brotherly neighbour Afghanistan.

good for the peace in the regione .

how much india have invested in afg and waisted, they are having so much resources are coming from arab world. diplomacy have to be strong if Pakistan wants to tackle them they getting india's bread from Muslims world and still not thankful, these indians are spreading terrorism every where in muslim world.

Many are bitter about their lost roles in Afghanistan, most of all Indians, Americans, and Iranians.

Alhamdulilah, it bodes well for the region. Afghanistan and Pakistan have friebdly relationships on a oerson to person level, with only the Indians playing the role as instigator. With Indians gone, Pakistan and Afghan friendship will reach the Heavens.

@H. Dawary @Agha Sher Happy for the times to come brothers, when Afghanistan and Pakistan can unite together again.

Afghanistan and Pakistan will unite eventually. However, Hekmatyar is a giant fool and he is worse than the NA fools.

When the Taliban gets a hold of him, he will be hanged.

Gentlemen. Its futile to ask for peace from Afghans. You are wasting your time. Afghanistan and India's balkanization is the only way forward at this moment. Unless Afghanistan accepts Pakistan's muslim reality and joins hands with China, Afghanistan will always be an attack dog of india.

In short, what you're essentially saying is what the Pak Establishment has been saying for 10+ years --- let the Afghan Taliban come back and restore order. Our border becomes safe, Afghanistan becomes stable (if extremely conservative and probably backward), etc. --- but India and the US both lose a pliable puppet and easy way to destabilize Pakistan/CPEC. Let's see what happens...

You just don't understand do you. This isn't Harkat Al Ansar but teams of dedicated operatives, not a guerrilla movement that's given a free hand. Incidentally Lashkar-e, Hizbul and Jaish have never wavered, but that's not what I referring to, but you are.
The only necks they're going to be breaking are the ones affiliated with you, but we all know this audacious plan won't see the light of day. Your experience in milita revolves around setting up outfits which kill Kashmiri elderly men, women and children.

Not at all, I am referring to ISI, not to splinter groups created by ISI.we very well recall ISI's dedicated teams coordinating bomb blasts in the Indian embassy killing 90 people

The reach that you boast of; whether through direct operatives of your military such as advisors embedded in Taliban during siege of Kabul, OR the groups that your agency empowers such as the Haqqani group, Afghan Taliban, Lashkar -e-Taiba; Both such assets usually come back and bite you in the long run.

Coming to our experience with the militia, I admit we are no geniuses like you guys, I think I recall an instance that we created a small Militia force, trained it to fight against a well-trained military, and used it quite well in a war, the same militia force was quite instrumental in the war effort that lasted about a fortnight, resulting in the largest unilateral surrender since WWII... But more importantly, then we disarmed that militia, and let those volunteers return to the normal sphere of life.

Lastly, it's interesting that you bring up the Lashkar -(e -taiyba assuming that's what you meant) and Jaish-e-Muhammad in your post. I would love to know your take on these organization's links with ISI, aren't these Terrorist organizations?

No you didn't, you referred to splinter groups, you just got caught out and changed your narrative
Neither the Haqani group or Laskkar have turned on Pakistan and won't do. Like I said before, your knowledge of the region is poor, otherwise you would know the reasons why they wouldn't.
Oh and the milita of 71, I understand why you go back 50 years, as you pretty much have nothing to tout since then. Yep, I'll hand it to you back then you took an opportunity and utilised it. But we live in the present, and the Kashmiri rebels take their toll from you, and we all know about the reach in Afghanistan. You can reminisce about 71.
As for the those organisations, they only propped up after your torture of the Kashmiri people. Put an end to that and then hey presto, the terror stops. Not had to understand that.

We did not build Taliban, Taliban were a by-product of Soviet invasion and post-soviet era civil wars. Afghan refugees wanted to stop the endless violence in their country, hence Taliban.

Hekmatyar was deposed by them in the first place as he was one of the big Mujahideen leaders fighting over Kabul.

Agreed we did not build them, yet they are our militia in Afghanistan. Soon to be our naibs :)

Seems like Gulbuddin Hekmatyar is on Pakistan's side, it is good to see.

Afghan cronies of West and India have been abandoned to their fate, they are trying to reverse their kismat beyond all odds. It is an exercise in futility.
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar is a seasoned veteran of the Afghan game, two-time PM himself. He is also something of a survivor. It isn't even about "sides". This is a simplistic method of interpretation. He has an agenda and it is quite simply the correct agenda that Pakistan can potentially work with in order to rebuild Afghanistan free from Indian influence.
