bro i actually feel sorry when i talk to u guys. Development funds are need to do corruption. You have to buy stuff to get kick backs. Just like what is done in Nandi pur , laptop scheme. If there is no money spend it is hard to do corruption. I think you r not dumb enough but ur mind is physiologically unable to hear any thing about Sharif brothers.. chal pray for my brother firm . They are successfully able to take that into hearing. Government tried their best to get the case dismissed. Judge has already made his mind to give decision in government favour. My my brother boss made a very impressive case and argument left judge with no choice. U can say a battle is won.

The good thing is my brother is directly involved in making case and going to hearings so ill keep u guys updated before it comes in news.

My brother firm is fighting a case against government. It is about 1000 megawatt solar plant. Now what happened is that a local bidder win the project but government allotted it to a Chinese company. Government have the power and right to do it. But there are two factors which shows that there is high level of corruption. First 100 acre land was required for project, government gave 1000 acre of prime land. Secondly that company is a telecom company had no experience what so ever in power project. they are not even eligible to bid in it as they don't fulfill the technical requirement to do the project. . Then they company sublet the project to a Pakistani firm who had just won a 50 megawatt project but failed to bring it online up till now. Keep in mind the biggest solar plant running uptill now is 350 Megawatts in the world.

Now these are the legal ways of doing corruption that cant be caught on paper. No matter how much evidence u have but still it cant be won or called corruption in our court of law

I am telling u guys now this project will be a bigger flop then Nandi Pur. Up-till now the all solar plants in world is less then 500 Megawatt and we allotted the project to a Chinese telecom firm. That is why Bhutto and Sharif family is richest in Pakistan .

Nothing surprising... the Islamabad airport is another example... they even outsourced pipes and titles to chinese companies... meanwhile the local bidders were not even given a chance...the projects cost has now doubled or more...

He doesn't seem to know that government should not interfere after a company wins a project or contract on merit. Obviously, there are NO kickbacks or commissions to be made with a company on merit vs a company with whom PMLN have personal contacts to begin with That's how corrupt rulers are filthy rich in the Arab world, Africa because they hand over billion dollar projects to their own front companies and thus loot public money legally! why not just build some nuclear plants or coal fired plants???

solar is the future, but it's still too expensive and inefficient IMO.

We dont have the correct coal locally and it also has to be imported. Due to the developing countries having no need of this type of raw material it is bought at cheaper rates than any other fossil fuel. It is definitely a good starting resource to generate power. We unfortunately do not have the luxury to consider the environmental impact at this stage of our survival. That is the saddest part. Getting a nuclear reactor operational with our meager means is another challenge. However work is being done on them at a slow pace as well. Its the requirement that is growing at a pace in which consumption will always exceed production. That is due to poor population management, poor power management as well as line losses.

Sir, please read up on China's conditions for investment in Pakistan. The terms are not exactly friendly for Pakistan. Nonetheless, here they are :

The Chinese have asked that for any project that Chinese companies invest in, there will be no competitive international bidding. The projects will be allotted directly to China.
