Army peon honeytrapped into sharing sensitive information with Pakistani handler, held
The Rajasthan Police has arrested a man working as a peon under the Military Chief Engineer, Jodhpur Zone, for allegedly passing sensitive information of Indian Army to a Pakistani woman handler.

Ram Singh worked under the Chief Engineer of Jodhpur Zone in Military Engineering Service (MES).
Aman working as a peon under the Military Chief Engineer, Jodhpur Zone, has been arrested by Rajasthan Police for allegedly leaking sensitive information about the Indian Army to a Pakistani woman who honeytrapped him.
Director General of Police (Intelligence) Umesh Mishra said the accused has been identified as Ram Singh, a Class IV employee working under the Chief Engineer of Jodhpur Zone in Military Engineering Service (MES).
DG Mishra said Ram Singh, 35, was in contact with a Pakistani woman handler through WhatsApp for the last two months. After being lured by the woman on the pretext of meeting her and marriage, the peon used to send her pictures of crucial documents of the Indian Army through WhatsApp.
Being a Class IV employee, he was sending photographs of documents by dragging his mobile phone while carrying letters around and operating photostat machines. Based on input received from intelligence, he was being monitored by an intelligence team.
DG Mishra said Ram Singh was jointly interrogated by multiple agencies in Jodhpur. Evidence of obscene chats and information of strategic importance was found on his phone.
