Nice. CATL is the biggest winner.
But still only 13k sold in China? What happened? How many Model 3s have been sold?

Increasing demand in world market (sold in 50+ countries) and Tesla only has two factories fully operational to supply it...leading to rationing..

This is not the main reason. There are really some big problems Tesla is facing for its sales in China. Model 3 only managed to sell ~1,500 in August, that's below the sales of all major brand EVs, which can't even make to the top 20 list of EV sells:
It seems Xpeng P7, BYD Han, etc., and Tesla's own Model Y are eating up Model 3 sales. Probably Model 3 needs another round of price cutting, to compete in the lower-end market...
Another indicator of sales is the waiting time for a car to reach its customer. Model 3 is not impressive in this aspect either, the average waiting time for Model 3 here is less than 1 month now, while that for BYD Qin pro, e.g., is half a year, whose sales are really limited by its production capacity, but certainly not the case for Tesla...
Anyway, good international sales is good for both Tesla and its Chinese suppliers. So keep the good work.

Considering the Model Y (with 11576) was introduced in January to supercede the Model 3

it is already selling well over 10,000 month which is almost double BYD's flagship BYD Han 100% EV.

Every Chinese 100% EV model (other than the Wuling mini of course) has struggled to break the 10,000/month barrier even after being out for over a year.

Look at the last column

No. the Model Y is not meant to 'supersede‘ the Model 3, Model Y belongs to the SUV segment, while the Model 3 belongs to the sedan. In other words, the model 3 has already been beaten by all major Chinese NEV sedans. It is nowhere on the list this month with its ~1,500 sales... BTW, the total sales of Tesla in China are falling off a cliff, not because of the exports, as you have claimed 'the first month of every season for exports', but because its market share has been eaten up by Chinese NEV cars, like Xpeng for example.

Look at the 'last column'? The last column is the sales of same period last year. You want to see the year-on-year growth, right? e.g., again, the Xpeng P7, a more than 3 fold growth.

I keep forgetting this is China and they are behind in their market preferences.

But it appears China prefers Tesla SUVs over any particular Chinese 100% EV sedan model. I don't think you'd call the Mini a sedan.

Whatever, Tesla total sales here fall miserably, while BYD sees record-high sales of 60,000+ EVs and is keeping growing. Exports are not an excuse now like someone claimed about last month sales (first month of the season...lol...)... But anyway, good work for exporting more Chinese core components like batteries etc., to other countries. CATL, etc. will be very happy...

Tesla's local content ratio in China is even higher than the local-content ratio in America.

I appreciate Tesla's big export volume from China. Good for both China's manufacturing industry and America's Wall Street.

LoL.. self delusion. I suggest Elon musk shall kneel and kiss Xi toe or Insult all American and praise CCP to save Tesla model 3 sales in China.

LOL The only delusion is you saying LAST YEAR that the BYD Han EV will crush all Tesla models after it goes on sale in July 2020.

It's now a year and it is still struggling to break 10,000/month. It did that once in December November and then sales fell and have flattened in the 6500 range. It wll be lucky if it doesn't end up like the BYD Tang hype.

But it's you who brag Tesla car sales will continue to top in China. I claim BYD EV sales will be top and not exclusive to BYD Han only.

You better ask Elon Musk to kneel infront of Xi to save Tesla sales in China.
