Tesla's are good but they are only good while they are monopolising the EV market. The other big name manufacturers were a bit late to start their foray into EV production. That is not the case anymore.
With BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, Audi and Co their market share will take a massive hit. With all the above having supply chain and customer base already present in EU.
Thats not all the Korean brands are plenty on the roads now as well so all will effect Tesla. I am not sure UK Governments target of 2030 for full EV only economy is realistic. The issue will be in places like my city where people are by and large parking on streets, where will you put charging points and how many.
They are all hoping that by then full charging times will be in 5-10mins roughly equivalent to a fuel stop by a normal car. Tesla's domain is limited and will be even more limited once other brands are in the field with their full EV models.
