No, what China is facing is long term steady terminal decline due to demographic collapse. China will lose up to 300-400 million of its people by the end of the century and a large percentage of those left will be elderly. China will lose its demographic advantage, and thereby lose its lone economic advantage of scale. The United States just has to wait you out at this point. China’s fate is inevitable because it’s almost impossible to control demographic trend lines.

I think you're (try to learn the difference) too short-sighted to realize that population is not the sole measuring stick for power. The people America are importing are not of a quality that would lend anyone to believe America will maintain any dominance relative to China, let alone in an absolute measure.

Look at all the major cities in the US. That's what's coming for the white flight suburbs in 20 years. You want a better basis for comparison? Look at Brazil, or India. That's more what America is going to look like by 2040, by 2060, probably by 2100 it'll be a large South Africa. This is NOT good.

You are right that the Chinese aging problem and fertility problem have to be addressed for China to remain as dominant as it aspires to be, but even if it doesn't, demographics are destiny and American demographics get fucking horrid with each decade that passes by.

There are only two civilizations that have succeeded in becoming wealthy and technologically advanced without the use of natural resources. East Asian nations and Europeans and their descendants. Of course it fucking matters.. what are you talking about.

America has been in decline since 9/11. The housing bubble and financial crash caused political fracture which led to the rise of extremists. Now the pandemic has further weakened the US as the middle class and working class are being wiped out.
