Terrorists caught in UAE???

Everybody around me is discussing about the terrorists who were caught in UAE recently, though i have not found any credible source on net which proves it.
I was asked to avoid crowds and to not go to malls on weekends.
Don't know if this news is true or not.

Qatar is known to support brotherhoods and such organizations, for this reason it faced a lot criticism from other GCC countries.

Any terrorist action can have a devastating effect on UAE, where 90% of the population is expat.

Traditionally, UAE has been sort of unofficial "no one touch this" country in the middle east. If I had to make a wild guess, I think it is because any regional group, whether political, terrorist, or criminal, has some sort of investment in Dubai, or uses Dubai to hide the money trail, or use Dubai has money laundering. This is not a criticism against Dubai, nor am I saying that Dubai did this on purpose.

It always felt to me like some sort of unspoken rule among all the player in the region. "You can touch any country you want, but don't touch Dubai, because it will harm us all."

Now, maybe, due to UAE's recent military adventures, it is starting to lose the neutral title it had, or maybe it is because groups like ISIS are too anarchic and random to give a shit.

Just let me say this at the end. All this is guesswork. I have ZERO evidence for what I'm concluding. Feel free to consider this post as completely bullsht.

I think you're right to an extent. Just that I will refrain from commenting on this topic, after all I live in this country.
