leave it guys. i know it makes our blood boil when people cheer at the death of our honourable soldiers. but scum like him will always rejoice at death. we shouldnt lower ourselves to his level. it will be terrible to see any indian rejoicing the death of brave pakistani soldiers martyred in the NWFP. soldiers are soldiers and their death should be honoured and respected regardless of their nationality.

Ohh come on su-47 don't get too touchy, i can find enough examples here posted by our Indian friends and the amount of rejoice that they show when our soldiers die. By the way who's a terrorist on who's territory lets not go there, a pointless debate.

I am not a former militant and i have not served in any military ops in IHK.
I had friends and family that served in the kashmir struggle.

What do you have to say about those who surrendered, those Ikhawan who fight the Pakistan backed militants and those who now call Pakistanis as selfish?

I think surrender is only an option for j&k residents?

can we have some examples, names?
I would call them extremists or childish..

^^ Anyway it is your right to be happy or to exult when Indian soldiers die and our right to find it in bad taste.

From my perspective, the death of an innocent Pakistani (or any national for that matter) in terrorist attacks or a Pakistani soldier fighting for the unity of his country (lets say in FATA) will never be a matter to be happy about. He would have died doing his duty and may God grant him peace.

If the bus had been full of civilian passengers and had got blown up i would be calling the people that carried the attack out terrorists.
Indian army in kashmir is a occupation army so your definition of "fighting for the unity of his country" is void.
If the bus had been full of freedom fighters/terrorist would you have a problem with indian army attacking it..?

No, the definition is very much correct. These guys are fulfilling their duty in the most adverse conditions, putting their life at risk every moment to ensure the unity of the country and to save the lives of Kashmiris from the militants/terrorists.

We may have different perspective on the status of Kashmir and its politics, but the ordinary soldier is doing his duty and following the orders given to him.

But anyway, I know how you think about this issue and I don't think it is possible or worth the effort to try to convince each other. The best that we can try is to understand the other's perspective.

If was an indian......yes i would be happy that Mujhaideen/Taliban/Mehsud kill Pakistani army....at least there not killing indians.

Primary difference between you and us.

As i said before if i was the indian govt i would be laughing my head off......the very people that where trained by the pak army to attack afghanistan and kashmir are now fighting the teacher.
If i was indian i would be very happy.

We are hoping that you learn your lessons from militia-running and get going on better things in life -- development and progress.

Bring it on...

Do you have some sort of mental problem or what? That you enjoy people getting killed?

You calling them extremists or childish. who gives a crap obviously you will say for now. As for names try finding some posts made by Bull and Adux, they got banned though, and i am sure you can find out many others of your kind doing the same, taking the undue advantage of freedom of speech provided to them here courtesy of Defence.pk.

I agree with the last line, the difference lies in the opinion as to why it has become a reality.

yes. i know there are indians who rejoice at the death of pakistani soldiers. i never denied the fact.after all people who rejoice in death and misery are present in every country. read my post carefully. i said 'it would be terrible to see indians rejoicing at the death of pakistani soldiers.' and it is. personally i condemn such acts.

and as about terrorist and territory, we have our different views on it. but at the end of the day, the soldiers who died are not the ones who ever started the kashmir conflict. they are men following their orders. just like soldiers all over the world. to rejoice in their death is just disgusting.

so I think this member should also be banned, I think the same undue advantage is being taken.

Thread closed.

Its going nowhere.

The same old 'terrorism/freedom struggle' arguments really do not do justice to the implications events like these may have for the peace process or CBM's...

As Vinod said, both sides have their view on this that is unlikely to change, so why continue to rehash the same?
