Tejas Successfully Test Fires Beyond Visual Range Missile

The simple fact is this

By 2020.tejss will equip two full sqds

By 2025 there will be four more mark one a

This programme delayed massively much ridiculed at rightly so may I add

Will lead to fifth gen Indian fighter in 2030/35 timeframe and unmanned combat planes

It will spawn S give increase in indengousz military projects

Don't believe Mr just look at the Indian navy today

Blatant lie. Topic of article is misleading and lie contradicting body of the aericle.
O wait. forgot its indian defence relared article.
They brag its there habbit.
Mods clean this mosleading article please.
are bhi tere kyu fatti padi a nothing happens teja is never operational into iaf its just for indian babus kuj na kuj dhekate rho or paise khate rho indian are busy in watching bahubali

tejas might take time to mature as a fighter but it would sure be force to reckon with.

Its taking time, becuase its the first time that India is going through all this, and maybe in future, we will make each and every major equipment and parts in our country.... god speed....

LOLS. The simple act of firing the missile is causing the 'light weight' 90% composite aircraft to roll. It feels like a gust of wind could blow it away. In its present form, only a traitor in Indian airforce will give it operational clearance. You guys need to work harder.
Is it too difficult for you to see, but ill explain this to you, when a fighter is loaded on its wings, it experiences drag force, so when missile is fired, their is a low pressure area built just under the part from where the missile left from, thus the fluid rushes from high pressure area to low pressure area, and this gushing fluid will cause some lift according to angle of attack the plane was in just before releasing, and also its a delta design, which have more skin friction drag due to more area.....thus the rolling.....fluid is air....

That's how you do it:

I see,now I can see the kind of aerodynamics and advance material science knowledge you possessed is just so futuristic.I mean Jf 17 wow.All metal,no Fly by wire but in pitch axis etc etc.

The guy is not only illiterate he is also blind.

His plane practically shook when the missile was fired. But the hate blinded man did not even see it.

Comparatively Tejas was very stable. And it makes sense. The full fly by wire tech adapts to the weapon load and quickly compensates for a weapon release. The JF does not have that. Not that facts and visual evidence matters to a DSI fanboy!
Sir like your name its logical, we cannot completely remove wing tip vortices or lift created by fluid due to angle of attack, fly by wire just compensates for the losses, but still tejas was so stable, but jf rolled towards right due to wing tip vortices and the lift created by fluid(air), when the area of missile was filled with high pressure air....

Thank you.

Absolutely. The difference was so clear when Tejas achieved stability instantly whereas the other plane did half a roll.

Anyway this does not matter so much in a weapon release but may matter more in a dogfight and certainly in containing pilot workload and fatigue. We are even discussing it here because we are on a forum where logic, evidence, history, anthropology, law, reason, numbers and reasonableness gets trumped by chest thumping every day.
