Nothing new to be honest. Some years ago Taslima Nasreen too was roughed up. Freedom of speech in India is enshrined only if you are bad mouthing Hindu sensibilities. So actually he proudly accepts that he was slapped and many treating Gaggan (the guy who slapped Fateh) as hero.

Interestingly, in comments few called him a cheap stunt for fame, it is even connected to ISI quoting as....paid by ISI (as usual which is not new) as well as many badmouths the Gaggan but not the Fateh for using such low/filthy/inappropriate/abusive language. First of all you were in India not US in this case. Secondly if US standards allow calling US citizens as motherfkers or bastards well congrats to all the bastards there then but sorry it is not permitted according to Asian standards.

1. I am not the law so why would I decide if anyone would be punished or not. I clearly stated that if it was against the law it would take action against the students if proven guilty of violence.
