There are two types of Talibans ..

One is TTP and other is Talibans that are invloved with NATO in Afghanistan.
there is huge difference between them.
so Minister has made a comment for which type of Talibans ?

Both have conspired against Pakistan: Check
Both support each other: Check
Both hate women: Check
Both have hurt image of Islam: Check

Agree to all this but I would add some more...

The media has started calling every person who resists America/NATO in Afghanistan as Taliban... It is clear that this is not the case and the resistance in Afghanistan is mostly from local people... I think the Taliban who clearly state that they are loyal to Pakistan and reject attacking Pakistan in this evil game, we can at least give them credit for sticking to such a principled stance... We can always disagree with what they did in Afghanistan but at least they did not turn their guns on us when we clearly betrayed them back in 2001!!!!!

This is an insult, an insult to the nation, an insult to muslims, an insult to all those killed and maimed in bomb blasts and various acts of terrorism, an insult to the members of the forces who sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation's protection.
If nothing else, the minister's remarks deserve wide spread condemnation, though I would appreciate if he is relieved of his position as federal minister.

Here you go, you measure the right and wrong of Afghani taliban based on the notion if they are ready to attack Pak army or not. What about the thousands and thousands of innocent afghan being killed before and after nato invasion by the the taliban?

Local people? the TTP is also local. what can you say about that? give them credit for slaughtering afghans.

MANSEHRA: Federal Minister for Tourism Maulana Attaur Rehman has said that Taliban are the true followers of Islamic ideology and the US has been creating hatred against them.

“Ulema and Taliban are the true followers of Islamic ideology and America is the biggest terrorist of the world, which is creating hatred against them,” said the minister while speaking at a public gathering in Allai here on Tuesday.

Mr Rehman said that the ongoing spate of terrorism could not be eliminated until the US and the world gave equal rights and respect to the Muslims.

Disagree with Mulana, Talaban idealogy is completely wrong ,they should follow the strategy of Fatah Makkah , Islam dont allow distruction and fasad and killing of innocient people muslim or non muslim.

They are what.. 3%..5% of the population..
But are more active..
Just like the gun toting Texan who spits at the mosque door..
He does represent all of America.. not even a majority..
But sure the heck gets all the attention..
The others however.. would rather just keep quiet..
see "death to America" rallies or Quran Burning on Tv.. and have their dinners.. isnt stopping their income.. or kids from going to school.

And how many of those events prior to Sept 11, 2001? In America, outward religiosity is often ignored and often derided, sometimes by the religious leaders themselves.
