Many Indians do not know how much hate Pukhtoons (Pakistani/Afghan both) have for Indian Hindus. They spend their whole time convincing themselves that Pakistan is their most vicious enemy, while we are not that anti-Hindu as some of our cousins in Afghanistan, Iran, and Arab countries.

I think we Pakistanis are pretty nice to Indians, all things considered. Definitely that needs to change.

We don't hate indians because of their race or religion but because they vehemently believe in the death and destruction of the Pakistani race and nation. Also, because of their oppression of the Kashmiris. But yes, the Afghan Pukhtoon generally hate Indians much more than we do. They DO hate indians for racial/religious reasons.

What you both say is interesting and I believe you.
It does make me wonder.

India supports Afghanistan but only the Afghan government, which has a lot of non-Pashtuns (if I am correct).
The Taliban is anti-India and they consist of a majority of Pashtuns (who are anti-India and anti-Hindu according to you both).
So, I think that Indians know that Pashtuns do not like them, since they do not support the Taliban.
They know they will not gain anything from supporting them.

The incoming government in Afghanistan will be Taliban dominated and pro-Pakistan.

What if India would stop supporting the current government in Afghanistan and just walked away?
Would the relationship with the new Afghan government improve or would nothing change?
Would the relationship with Pakistan improve or would nothing change?

And what if India would stop supporting Afghanistan and start seeing them as a enemy?
How would that affect the relationship with Pakistan?

These are a lot of questions, but I do think they need to be answered when the new Taliban dominated government will take office.

It would have no effect, unless Pakistan endorsed India. That would require independence of Kashmir from Indian occupation. However the hate against India is also historical, as it is based on the experiences of Afghan kings and the maligning of them by Indians. Afghanistan is close historically to Pakistan, actually both have been the same country throughout history and were only divided by British acquisitions against the Afghan kingdom.

Actually Iran is the historical ally of Non-Pukhtoon groups in Afghanistan, not India. India just used help from Iran to establish itself and use Afghan soil for terrorism against Pakistan.

The lawful government of Afghanistan was attacked and overthrown by a foreign power, which occupied their homes, carpet bombed villages and cities. They set up torture and rape centers like Bagram, Guantanamo, etc. to deny enemy soldiers their due rights under international law.

The Afghans did what any other person in their circumstance would do, Muslim or not. They resisted an illegal invasion.

Western allies set up an illegal government in Kabul by paying warlords and criminals with suitcases of money. They declared their intention to bring a government opposed to Islamic law, against the wishes of the people.

Taliban had the same demands from day one of the war, Islamic identity of Afghanistan will not be compromised and that they will not negotiate with an illegal entity set up by occupiers, but occupiers themselves. They also demanded all foreign troops to leave Afghanistan before such talks can proceed.

Time has proven them right. War in Afghanistan harmed the US more than anyone else and destroyed their credibility worldwide.

The death and destruction suffered by Pakistanis and Afghans due to this illegal war is evident. Terrorist proxies were used by Western allies to murder and kill innocent people in both countries. Drones targetted civilians, including children, intentionally.

There are a long list of war crimes here. No aqwam muttahida will be able to bring closure, the final account is with Allah swt alone.

You talk about them being puppets, but do you think that the other Pashtuns (not from Kabul, but loyal to the Taliban) want to become puppets of Pakistan?

Because, although the Taliban is pro-Pakistan, the power dynamic has changed since the 90's.

So, how do you think the relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan will be?

You might say that they will be friends because of the common history, but one can also argue that they will start off as friends but end up as enemies because of the common (recent) history.

Also, Pakistan will need to use a lot of money and manpower to keep the TaIiban happy. Historical bonds will not be enough for them.
Do you think that the Pakistani public will support that?
Because here on PDF there are many Pakistanis who only want the Afghans to go back to Afghanistan and stay there. They do not want the Pakistani government to spend any money on them.
