The kingdom deported 39,000 Pakistanis, accuses national of several criminal activates

RIYADH: In the past four months, Saudi Arabia deported about 39,000 Pakistanis from the Kingdom for violating the rules of residence and work, Saudi Gazette reported on Tuesday, quoting informed security sources as saying.

They said that multiple Pakistanis were jailed for a number of crimes, like drug trafficking, thefts, forgery and physical assault.

Against this backdrop, Abdullah Al-Sadoun, chairman of the security committee of the Shoura Council, called for ‘thoroughly scrutinising’ the Pakistanis before they are recruited for work in the Kingdom.

“Pakistan itself is plagued with ‘terrorism’ due to its close proximity with Afghanistan. The Taliban movement was itself born in Pakistan,” he said.

The sources also stated that a number of Pakistani nationals were allegedly involved in some ‘terrorist’ actions - orchestrated by Daesh - is a cause of public and societal worry.

He asked for closer coordination with the concerned authorities in Pakistan to thoroughly check those coming to work in the Kingdom due to the involvement of a number of Pakistanis in security issues, the report said.

Sadoun said the political and religious inclinations of the Pakistanis coming to work in the Kingdom should be known to both sides before they are recruited for work.

Saudis are just pissed off because we won't fight in Yemen and they are getting their assets kicked. No surprise. Not particularly bothered either. When a dog barks most people ignore. But if Pakistanis are commuting crimes then they should be punished there and when they return home they should be punished again

Moderators : Please note that the Indians on this site have for quite some time been misleading and harming our peoples. Please give us interactions with better neighbors : the Iranians, the afghans, the turks etc. for we cannot help these nice Indian people (only Allah SWT can).

As for our fellow Pakistanis Perhaps there is no need to bring up this topic about India. Remember if you gloat over the suffering of the unfortunate then it may not be so nice. We pray that Allah SWT does turn away His wrath from India and permit these people to become civil and nice so we can have better neighbors /neighborhood.

If you see someone who is less fortunate than you (like a poor person) do you start to pick a fight with them? Do you start telling them "Hey you are poor, you have these problems and that problem!" ? No, ofcourse not. You pray to Allah SWT to help the poor, you do your duty and pay zakath and sadaqa and you keep your eyes and attentions upon Allah SWT and the right way.

The whole report seems exaggerated and manipulated, this number of "39K Pakistanis being deported" can not be proved correct in the light it's being shade, there are several different aspects which are mixed and mashed together to create a falsified picture.

• In wake of last year's economic crunch in Saudi Arabia where several big companies released thousands of employees more than 2-3rd of these "39,000 Pakistanis" can easily be traced, fact to be noted that realeasing and sending an employee back is a long process in Saudi Arabia, people stranded months in wait of paperwork and payment of dues.

• Twisted nature of this report is evident in its caption, it says "Saudi Arabia deported about 39,000 Pakistanis from the Kingdom for violating the rules of residence and work, Saudi Gazette reported on Tuesday" and then at then at the end quoting a reference from different question perhaps asked in a different context with Saudi official but later combined in this report, any logical mind can deduce these facts.

• The thing to be worried most about from Pakistan perspective is this was published by a state-run news establishment, if anti-Pakistani propaganda is being run by an official Saudi source then there are some questions which need to answered
