Good work by Taliban. Nobody has any issues with mourning rituals or paying tribute to martyrs Karbala since loving Sayedna Hussain (RZ) is fundamental part of aqeeda of AhleSunnah

Only issue is hate speech against Sayedna Abubakr (RZ), Sayedna Umar(RZ), Sayedna Usman(RZ), Sayidda Aysha(RZ) etc who are as fundamental part of our beliefs as anyone else. Nobody do that and everything would be fine

Taliban should have picked that earlier..

Cursing of the 3 Sahabas and Hazrat e Ayesha has been restricted by Shia Ulama and grand Ayatollahs. If you ever get into the general shia population, you won't ever see it happening in majalis or wherever. Let me tell you, I'm 26, and I've attended majalis all my life. I NEVER EVER HEARD ANY MAULANA CURSING THE 3 SAHABA and Hazrat e Ayesha. Why? Because we listen to scholars, not zakirs who hold no religious degree. Anyone can become a zakir.

Iran's Ayatollah Khameinie, Iraq's Ayatollah Sistani and tons of other Ayatollahs have restricted this act.

Who abuse these Sahabis?

1: Zakirs (even not all of them)
2: Mullahs controlled by Mi6 in London like Yasser Al Habib, Sadiq Shirazi group etc. They're officially at war with the Iranian and Iraqi Ayatollahs.

Now, there are some sunni scholars who have abused Imams from Ahl e Bayt. They're to us what Hazrat Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman is to you. Should I believe all Sunnis do that? No. Most of the sunnis don't even know the name of Imams and lineage, and its normal.

Many sunni scholars say that Hazrat e Abu Talib was a kafir. This is blasphemous fo us since he was a Muslim in our history of Islam and many sunni alims have same views on this. But again, should I go on hating Sunni brothers? Nop, they are free to have a different opinion on Abu Talib, they don't curse him. Shias are also free to have another opinion on Hazrat Abu Bakr Umar and Usman. Should not curse them.

So am not going to ask for a debate. Just have put some details. Great gesture by Taliban. Such unity will surely burn the imperialists. It is highly required.

About Hazrat Abu Talib we have a very clear view that he didn't accept Islam in light of authentic ahadeeth. But you would rarely see any sunni scholar discussing it in our mosques since it is a non issue for us. If he accepted Islam then good but we don't have authentic ahadeeth for that. Anyways it is a non issue and at least I never sat in a khutba where this topic was even discussed. As for blasphemy against the 3 caliphs or Sayyida Ayesha (RZ) it is something that keeps on happening again and again from the shias or at least people from their community and it is responsibility of shias themselves to quell and stop such people. Unity and harmony can only happen by stopping these zakirs or whatever they are by shias themselves.

Great gesture by Taliban. Need of time.
Sunni genuinely love Ahl-e-Bait.
There are always fringe elements on both sides who foment extreme views.

In this regard, please note:

Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's view on the issue:
http://english.khamenei.ir/news/3905/Ayatollah-Khamenei-s-fatwa-Insulting-the-Mother-of-the-Faithful

Ulema who condone the cursing are systematically hostile to the Islamic Republic of Iran. They spend their time attacking the Iranian establishment and its Leadership as much as they target Sunni Islam. Prominent examples are Kuwaiti preacher Yasser al-Habib and Afghan preacher Allahyari... one operating from the UK, the other from the US!

Indeed, in Iran the latter elements are termed "British turbans", and there's no place for them in Iran; to Iranian authorities it is clear that they are western- and zionist-sponsored assets meant to cause sectarianist strife between Muslims, much like assorted extremists on the opposite side.

It is appreciable that some Shia scholars have given fatwa against blasphemy of Caliphs of Islam or wives of Prophet (saw) or companions of Prophet (saw) but more needs to be done. Shia community itself should take action against people who claim to represent them and again and again do filthy act of blasphemy against the best of this ummah. Only then we can have unity among Muslims.

At Least we won't hear insults about Sahabah and Ummha-tul-mumineen.

There are many other Shia ullema who used abusive cussing and slurs not against the Sahabah but the entire Sunni's , some of them are top of the line Shia scholars very close to Ayatuallah's of Iran, There is a channel Sunnah discourse has compiled the clips, you would be shocked to the words they used against the Sunni's.
There are always fringe elements on both sides who foment extreme views.

Have you ever heard a Sunni who has insult Ahl-e-byte ? Fatima RA , Ali RA , Hasan RA Hussain RA ? I have been to UAE, Bahrain , and my brothers lived years in KSA and never ever heard a single insult against the family of Prophet, Its just can not and won't happen because there is no issue with Prophet's family but the doctrine of 12ver narrative which if done in a respectable way is fine, There is no copy right on Ahly-e-byt by any party, but using them to abuse other sahabah will always meet with criticism and for some its so sensitive that they will resort to violence.

Consider it the way, if I call anyone mother here on PDF character less, or say Lanat on xyz mother of course they will be enrage to a level they will do something about it, respond in a similar manner, complain to mods, or if done on face to face, probably slap or punch, I know if someone use slur against my mother on my face, I don't care if someone is 7 feet or 200 KG I'd beat the holy hell out of that person, so for believer Ummah Ayesha RA and other wives of Prophet are far more than their own mothers, and hearing insults against them is a matter of honor and dignity for them.

I think recently Omar Soleman from Yakeen Institute has done detail biographies of the " First " those who were first Muslims or helpers of Rasool Allah, he mentioned many details about Abu talib's life and his death, and how Abu Lahb and one more person (forgot the name) has tried to stop Prophet from meeting Abu Talib and perusing him to recite Kalima, Also there was another narration mentioned where Rasool Allah said to Abu Talib, about just reciting the Kalima so he can stand in front of Allah to present the case of Abu Talib. Now what happen to him is something we can not do, Allah will punish anyone he wants, he will forgive anyone he wants that is why when we will be resurrected everyone will stand and later flock to their Prophets to intercede for them but every Prophet will just try to save their own self except Rasool Allah who will raise his hands and make his special plea which Allah give to every Prophet and he (Muhammad SAW) save his for the day of judgement, to ask for Forgiveness for his Ummah. No matter who you are, whatever you did or used to do, how Pious to behave in the world, when the time comes without the mercy of Allah no one will or can enter Jannat.

Our view about Hazrat Abu Talib is based on Quran and Hadees. There are verses in Quran and authentic hadees that mention that he didn't accept Islam. We don't have any authentic narration for his acceptance of Islam. So that is why we view that he didn't Islam

Having said that. In Sunnis his Islam is a non issue. It is not something that is discussed in our mosques. How Allah treat him is up to Allah. We don't talk about it and rather have no authority to talk about it. Allah knows the best on this issue.
