- Displayed to the world that it is the real Super Power
- China can dance as much as it wants but dare not touch any US
military asset.
What China achieved -
- Claimed full fledged victory on various online forums across the world
- Claim of achieving a narrative understood only by them
- World getting to grips with the new meaning of “grave consequences”.

Nobody believes Indian claims after the videos of Indian POWs being blindfolded, humiliated and in handcuffs showed.

Indian regime can't respond with their own photos or video because it doesn't have anything.

The fact it's only an AU-JP-US statement undoubtedly means they couldn't get India to agree to it and make a "Quad" statement, which would have been the first port of call.

For all the hatred of Indian nationalists towards China, it seems Modi's government does not want a confrontation with China over Taiwan. It would be disastrous for India.

Issue is with chest thumping by Chinese flags here and warning of severe repercussions by Xi if US allows Pelosi to visit. Pelosi has come and gone and Cheen is firing ballistic missiles aimed at no one.

China shouldn’t have issued a warning of this nature if these warnings meant firing missiles in thin air and moving tanks into it‘s own cities.

they've realized that too. that's why their carrier is moving away to not look like bad guy. they even cancelled their icbm test.

Why should India get in a confrontation with China over Taiwan?

Well China must be seen as serious and angry, its just posturing and drama, for domestic and international audience. And it's also a good excuse to change teh status quo.

Taiwan should really understand one thing as long as there is no written agreement between US and Taiwan, US won't come to help Taiwan. And Taiwan for few days can resist PLA attack and may be cause some heavy losses in early days but after that it would be all over.

The war for Taiwan will not last a few days.

USA is attention whore. China says they're the star of this show. USA says me too!

If we let USA profit even a slight bit by showing their military presence during this present Taiwan fisaco, then everything China did up to now becomes a farce. USA purpose to sail (or plan to) their carrier into Taiwan Straight not to show military support for Taiwan but to steal back the limelight coz they know they fuked up bad by sending Pelosi in the first place.

China saw thru this trick now stalling for time by extending military exercise, cutting off military communication, etc... Cheap and easy technique to stall for time because then nobody gives a fuk if US does the Taiwan passage 1 or 2 months from now! Like the stage play is over and audience leaving (state members of the UN observing the actions in this hot spot) then USA shows up to mostly empty stadium and cheered by crickets chirping. A day late and a buck short... is the result China wants to give USN carrier group!

Basically, how to deal with attention whore USA: By not giving him any attention by denying him access and info into the current hot zone!
