That's nothing! Setting a world record, the PSLV has successfully placed ten satellites, including the country's remote sensing satellite, into orbit in a single mission.

The ten pack launch saw the 230-tonne PSLV-C9 carry the heaviest luggage--824 kgs--and put into orbit an Indian Mini Satellite and eight foreign nano satellites besides the Cartosat-2A remote sensing satellite.

Right! That was then. Records are meant to be broken!! But 37 satellites? I thought the record was held by an Antares launch in January 2014 which carried 34 satellites?

Anyway, the Dnepr is actually an ICBM modified as a launch vehicle, unlike the PSLV.
