What's new

Surgical strike was fake, we lost conventional deterrence against Pakistan, India not ready for war

.
In a "certain war", its prophesied that Pakistan will be joined by Arabs, Persians, Turks and Chinese against India. The Indian members are ensuring that happens through Indian Navy taking on Saudi and Chinese Navies.

Arabs and Persians on the same side. Also Turks and Arabs. And Chinese and Turks. Did the prophecy say when this will occur.

. .
Lets assume the numbers present were 200 still 6 targets were selected hence 1200 casualties. Not to mention those fighter pilots that could have been killed in shooting down the 9 aircraft.
You can't kill entire people in a campus of HQ by 1 bomb unless it is nuclear bomb or people are huddled in 1 place for some reason. So, I meant 200 casualty for 6 bomb strikes on the target.
Whatever the Indians would have done later on would have been responded as well. You see that both sides were prepared for war and troops were stationed along the borders for some time. Hence sanity prevailed to a point were an all out war did not follow.
The consequence of doing this would have been escalation. The same attack on nearby HQs an cities can be done by India too. Then there will hardly be anything that can stop escalation. This was a mature decision not to escalate. But there is no real prowess in getting targets near borders being locked by a plane. The glide bombs an LGB have range of about 30km in most cases and no real skill is needed to drop them

. . .
Ive been hearing this private sector this and that.

Its been almost a decade and you have nothing solid except plans and this and that lol.
I have been hearing the it since 2003.

Then you are writing without knowing nothing. It was around 2011, but the last 5 years things keep poping up on the ground, they have come from module construction to system integrators in a short period of time -

One example Apache Fuselage - TATA alone has major module construction from Lockheed Martin, Airbus, Sikorsky, Pilatus, HAL/DRDO, etc. A lot of these are not small systems, but major modules being shipped off. They've started off only in 2011 and aim to be whole system with F21 and will be with Airbus C295.

L&T with Vajra has the first armoured production and testing plant outside OFB and in the private sector working on FICV and FRCV. They are also working on programs like Akash, Pinaka, LCA, etc.

Adanis have a 50,000 square feet facility that will develop Hermes 900 medium altitude long-endurance UAVs for the Indian and global markets. Adanis are also trying to produce the Gripen E in India.

Reliance has several work in aero and defence one example is their factory in producing Falcon 2000 cockpit, eventually the whole plane.

Most important are some of the PPP programs like or example ATAGS with Bharat Forge and TATAs.

Hell, first of it's kind in India Tejas is being produced in a modular fashion. These private firms producing major modules for HAL.

There are more and left out the small, but very specialized ones like Tonbo, MKU, Astra, etc, etc.

Fact is, in a short period of time there are major aero space modules assembly lines, small arms plants, armored plants, UAV production plants, ammunition plants that's one the ground. This is compared to one gov owned company since independence controlling these assets. India's offset clause is injecting stimulus into this sector. They're practically producing an MIC for India.

Trust me, none of you have been looking close enough. I've been around since 2010, things going to change fast for India regarding defence and aero.

Oh Yeah! That's why on 26 Feb few trees and 1 poor crow was lost. And 12 Mirages could only drop 4 Bombs in hassle and run for their life.

So spice OEM is laying that range is 100km at optimum distance
While strike area was just 39km from LOC
Assuming a low level drop india could have done 40km as they did briefly entered pakistan space

. . .
Reason why india missed is wring data entry as pointed out by austrilan think tank.
They forget to out altitude data..
Meaning simple incompetence
The thing is they did not have a defined target as they thought PAF would fire on the aircraft and say Pakistan was the aggressor. All this left the IAF pilots to hesitantly fire or just jettison what they carried on no target but relied on this exploding on impact. There was no predetermined target hence this theory even negates what the Australians are trying to say, the reason this reason was put forward is because the manufacturer feared backlash in respect of future sales as the thought would go out on some inherent defect for non-Israeli's.

There were 5-6 bombs and one of them malfunctioned and hence not dropped. Rest of the Mirage 2000 were used for air defence and BVR/WVR combat and escort. If all planes carry heavy bombs, it will be difficult to maneuver to fend off any enemy fighters.

It is pakistani narrative that some critical died. Why did pakistan take 45 days to show the bottom party of the area to media if everything was ok?

please....
I hope you understand that the optimum altitude of dropping is 10km (3000 feet). Also, optimum speed of dropping if 1 Mach. Under these circumstances the bombs can go 60-100km. But otherwise it doesn't have that high range. It is not reasonable to drop bomb from that altitude as element of surprise will be lost and the targeting of structures require closer look to avoid Connie casualty.

O yaar, GanguTerrorists killed our PakTrees and murdered our AgentCrow!

You call this little/no damage... I agree with PAF lads... the other jets should have been downed... one for each PakTree.

And PNS was too generous to let go of GanguSub... would have avenged our Crow!

But what matters we dominate the EscalationLadder... and we should be content with it.
Someone please translate this in simple English. (Thanks in advance)
