Support for Dharna & Danga - Where does the money come from?

20K do represent 19Crore Pakistanis just like % of votes represent mandate or your logic if we apply NS needs 19Crore full votes to be PM to represent Pakistan. So keep noonie toon logic to yourself.
If you're idiotic logic holds then Imran Khan is even worse because doesn't even have 0.000000000000000001% representation in one of the four provinces....But you know I can always expect that from a think tank..

Imran's comments
1-There are no PTI workers inside PTV premises
2- I order PTI workers to vacate the PTV building

I do not know what you are complaining about? Should violence be tolerated? PTI should thank PML-N for setting a precedent for when similar stuff happens against any (improbable) PTI govt.
People are not dying. They are being stopped from rioting. Learn to see the difference.

Govt setting the precedent for what? They left Parliament alone for the protesters so they could enter in it and do whatever they want. Its the protesters who stayed at Parliament grounds and didn't went inside the building. Then the govt left alone the PTV building alone so protesters can storm it, destroy public property and govt will have some brownie points, but credit to protesters again who didn't smash anything and left the building peacefully when asked by the army.

Are these the precedents this govt is setting? To them only PM House and Presidency House are only buildings worth protecting, along with ofcource Noora and Showbaz residences in Lahore. Rest of them are left at the mercy of PAT workers.

If you wanna talk about democracy, then no building is more important than Parliament House, if you want to talk about national assets, then nothing is more important than building of national television. Govt left both unsecured and at the mercy of protesters, very good precedence has been set by the govt.

Are you serious?

PA told them not to come in. If these anarchists could, they would have done everything in their power.

I called you to this thread to contribute towards a specific topic, not spread obfuscation. You are still making excuses for these people? These are anarchists. Anyone who feeds them, supports them, makes excuses for them is supporting anarchy. You are keeping yourself blind for reasons known best to yourself. I am baffled at such obstinacy.

PTI, PML-N, Establishment, and the Bangkok Scenario | Page 3

Read the above, it might clarify a few things.

How will you forgive yourself after you realize that you have been used?

I don't see the point of this thread. It's not like any of us have access to their funding ledgers, and even if we did, it's not like we'd disclose it. You know that. You're not really looking for an answer here, merely attempting to incubate certain suggestions.

I've been busy like hell in my office since several week, hence very less contribution at PDF recently. I saw your thread the time you mentioned me there, didn't get the time to post detailed reply and then I forgot.

Anyways, I am not giving excuses about these so called anarchists. I am just exposing the so called good precedences set by this govt as you claimed.

You Sir are just looking at one aspect of this whole mess, and I replied to you in the same manner i.e. in one aspect. My support for PTI has shaken massively by their alliance with TuQ and recent events like attack at PTV building etc. You can see me not as vocal in favor of PTI as I used to be. IK needs to distant himself and his party from TuQ. PAT people are attacking these key buildings at some agenda, and being an ally of them PTI is getting bad repute.

But having said that all, I stand still at my stance towards this govt. The govt has rigged the elections, they killed people in Model Town, they denied audit of elections, they recently tried to create confrontation between army and protesters twice by letting Parliament House and PTV buildings at mercy of protesters and then sending in army instead of police. You can't deny the evil done by the govt and just focus at PTI alone.

Its OK. I do not doubt your sincerity. I hope you see how PTI is getting discredited. I had such high hopes from them.

Who is feeding 20K people every day? From where does this money come? It must cost about 5 million rupees daily. This has been going on for the past 16 days. So from where does this money come from? Any guesses?

How long can this be kept up?

“Three days ago, I got the feeling that there was a shortage of funds creeping up,” says Hashmi.

Hashmi reveals that Rs100-120 million spent thus far on this entire march and sit in.

Well, baghi in Kal Tak live in an answer clear it that funds are using for dharna

One should ask, pmln from where they got the money to buy Mayfair mansions in london?

Money shouldn't be a problem for PTI - Keep in mind that their supporters belong to upper middle class/upper class. So it's not hard to imagine that they'd be willing to donate a significant amount. Secondly, there are members who have significant wealth e.g Jahangir Tareen so they can also contribute but most importantly the expenses aren't much. They are not paying people to come unlike PML-N Jalsas where people come for food and as paid protestors.

Let me start this up by categorically stating that I do not support Imran Khan.

There are dozens of Billionaires in PTI and thousands of extremely rich. IK has following in the elite economical class of our country. Funds for him can not be an issue. Infact, I sometimes wonder why IK did not provide more facilities to his supporters despite all the funds that he can dig into (the Tareen brother alone could fund all this and more).

People are not dying. They are being stopped from rioting. Learn to see the difference.

Again, we have all witnessed how precedents are set by PML-N, we must not forget the storming of the Supreme Court when the verdict was against NS. We also shouldn't forget the Model town incident which is a clear precedent of extreme PML-N restraint!

You know what this latest restraint is all about? It is about clear directions from the Army that no more model towns are acceptable.

PTV and GEO do not support Anarchy, ARY actively encourages it. Big difference.

BTW the goons you support are now in PTV building. One of your problems is taken care of. Enjoy the anarchy my learned friend. This is what you support. The broken glass at PTV shows you your face, if you care to notice.

Seriously???

PTV has always been the official voice of Governments from the date of its establishment and GEO plays on foreign agenda more then all other networks combined, probably because it is the largest and the strongest media group. The propaganda against the Army and ISI chief are sufficient examples of GEO's attempt to cause anarchy.

This is a very good question.

First of all we have to keep in mind that politics is all about money. There are lots of donors for every party, not only in Pakistan, but all over the world this is a reality. The donors invest in future deals.

Funding in politics is a backbone of political parties.
