What if the attacker continues to climb upwards and accelerate as well (if having TWR greater than or almost equal to 1).

What is the contingency plan for the defender then ?

PS: I am not trying to make a flamer ... instead i am curious about what are the options for the pilot if the attacker doesn't fall for the bait.

Vertical rolling scissors. Atleast that's what i would do.

Th graph only indicates the effectness of Pugachev's Cobra maneuverability of the attacker. and if attacker (Su-30) doesn't fall for the bait it has the option of Kubait maneuverability (Chk previous page).

In history channel i saw US F-15 doging SAM's fired by Iraq ground defence!
If that was true than that could be some reflexes from the pilot and response of a/c.

I am not playing down "Pugachev's Cobra", its very nice maneuver and i like it VERY VERY much ... but at "Green" point, defender has stalled, and has no option but to go down to re-establish speed to execute further maneuvers, at the same time, attacker has sufficient speed to go upward and execute its own Kubait to come behind the stalled defender struggling to catch up speed.

Kubait is a short and tight circle, Yeah speed could be required, but it might a\track through radar.....these are just concept.

although I haven't seen the graphics...but what I know of the Cobra is that it basically is more beneficial when you have to break-out from a chase...you can have a missile at your tail or another plane...
the missile would then have to take a mile long radius to home-in back at the plane and may get spent in the process...
while the chasing plane might lose the defender's six'o...and become the 12'o itself...the cobra is akin to the application of airbrakes...only much more effective...
and yes not executed properly...the defender's plane would stall and the other guy would drill the defender's a$$.

I have no clue what you mean by "stall conditions", but the vertical scissors are meant to get the aggresor into a stall, or cause him to break off, leaving him vulnerable.
