The Koenigsegg Gemera, the first product of a joint venture between China's Evergrande and the world's top supercar maker Koenigsegg, will be launched in China on November 30, according to evzhidao.com.

The car is the first four-seat model of the Koenigsegg brand, also known as the world's first Mega-GT by Koenigsegg, and is limited to just 300 units worldwide.

In 2019, China's Evergrande and Koenigsegg, the world's top hypercar, will form a joint venture headquartered in Sweden, with Evergrande holding 65 percent and Koenigsegg 35 percent, with the Gemera being the first car produced by the company.

According to evzhidao.com, the Gemera has 1.27 megawatts of power and 3,500 Nm of torque, with a power output of 1,700 hp.

It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 1.9 seconds and can accelerate to 400 km/h in less than 20 seconds.

The Gemera has a range of 50km in pure electric mode and a top speed of 300km/h. In addition, it has a combined maximum range of 1000km.

The Gemera is produced in a limited edition of 300 units, with a starting price of 1.3 million Euros, and production for the next three years has already been snapped up to date.

The battery used in the car is the latest generation product developed and produced by Evergrande NewEnergy Vehicle Group, and the inverter is developed and produced by Evergrande's holding company e-Traction of the Netherlands.

The Gemera was designed by Sasha Selipanov, one of the world's top automotive designers. Selipanov has served as Bugatti's chief designer and Koenigsegg's chief designer, and his representative works include the Bugatti Vision GT, Lamborghini Huracan and Ferrari 612 GTO.

It is worth mentioning that Selipanov was also one of the lead designers of the Hengchi model of Evergrande NewEnergy Vehicle Group.

You will need a g-suit to drive that car... Lol
All those "hypercar" competitions. It is pretty much a 1 megawatt motor, and 4 wheels with super sticky tires completely unusable for regular driving.

Not much of achievement in getting so fast with that.

When a guy with this car steals your girlfriend :D

I'd prefer G Wagon G65 or Ferrari 458 Italia over this. Oh, I'd like to add Porsche GTRS 911.

Like always China will co-operate with foreign top brands and learn from them.

All these super cars are really small and highly uncomfortable and very attractive, i rather drive any of em to show off but i chose esclade or cruiser over any car.

Exactly! Mee too, I'd love an SUV with decent acceleration like 0-100 kmph under 7 seconds is good enough for me. Fancy cars are too fancy for my taste. :)

For reason that alone I'd prefer having a G wagon G65. Which is luxurious and has some serious off-road capabilities.
