Sub-continental drift: Strategic reasons India, US are heading down different paths

You are correct, if everyone thinks in same way you do. But, we are seeing here, 90% of the times India-Pakistan threads finally end-up with a conclusion as if faith and religion are important than anything else.

The reason is that we with our own hands let them.

We get involved in $hit shoveling as if it was our family business

and guess what

any discussion will go straight to the toilet thanks to shoveling. It is time we all started challenging OUR OWN societies about myths.

Especially the myths that encourage hatred.

Hahhaha, Yeah, that's true. Hey, I have come across your profile for 1st time as i am newbie here , read some of your posts now, glad to see there are some matured people out there in this forum to follow and learn from.

Simply US misunderstand India.US think they can treat and befriend India like Japan or other like countries.But now they realising it is impossible.They need India to counter China.But that idiots dont understand bond between India and China even if they are rivals.China is too powerful and US cant take them by single handed.And support of SK and Japan have severe limitations.But India is different.But now they understands India has its own priorities and strategic interest.

Either Congress or BJP , Indian Foreign policy has always remained the same , With India trying to bypass the US Dollar in trading with countries along with other countries like China , Russia and even Australia joining in .. There is an economic block being created to reduce the influence of America and the free ride American economy has ... Mix this with the political and strategic mismatch of both countries .. America hoped the Indo - US military co-operation would lead to an Anti China India playing by US books but that did not happen ...

I think the divide will further increase in recent times

the same policy of "Hugging and Kissing all night long" is over(like USA and Nato).for India,Co-Op is name of the game...But I disagree that Indo-US relation is drifted,more like redefined.see,in 2007,I read articles where USA politicians openly expressed their "Dissatisfaction" over the way Indo-US relation was going,cause,they don't dominate it any more..but USA opted for Co-Op,a realistic approach.you can't dominate 1 billion people,not in 21st century,atleast when they've placed a "Functional Govt",unlike "Stooge"..

if somebody think "Different Opinion" means "Break Up in Relation",I wonder if there is any relation existed before,right???

India and USA will keep rubbing each other the wrong way until US finally understands India is a different ballgame entirely and comes to accept it.

Things can get a lot trickier for NRIs. Guess a lot of Indians in USA could face charges of casteism and slavery in work place.
