Strangely it took US to realize after 19 years of consistent war, knowing that it was played like a riddle by Russia, China, Pakistan and Iran, still it is in a wobble whether or not it has to withdraw completely from Afghanistan?

What you will get is what you got in the last cold war, i.e proxy wars, espionage, accusations and counter accusations, sabre rattling and regime changes to suit each side.

Cold war was suitable to both US and USSR and it wasn't a choice but a desperate move from both end. US Russia were stuck initially in Korean War than in Vietnam war. In addition, there was only one rival USSR, right now there are two major rivals and more than a dozens small ones. In post cold war era the main reason of quarrel was the dominance of Military power, while today's quarrel is not limited to that, it has grown into Trade, Commerce, Religion, Dominance of Race and influence of a white & English Supremacy.

As long as regime change is concerned, almost entire Arab and Islamic world is devastated and majority of CIA targets are either eliminated or toppled except 2 leaders of Islamic Countries and two leaders of non-Islamic world. Syria's Bashar ul Asad-Iran's Rouhani along with Supreme Leader Ayatullah Khameni and Venezuelan Leader Nicolas Maduro and North Korea's Kim Jong-Un.

Ya one can argue that CIA's hit list has no ending and it's wavering. However, things are out of US control now, China and Russia's influence has grown exponentially, it never mentioned in news, but both China and Russia now offers Security and defense against US influence to the most vulnerable Countries.
