Pakistan has traditionally enjoyed a great relation with its friendly states in Middle east

The impetus for the mosque began in 1966 when the late King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia supported the initiative of the Pakistani Government to build a national mosque in Islamabad during an official visit to Pakistan.[/I]

Infact Pakistan has named a city after the late King of Saudi Arabia
king faisal city is called "Faisalabad"

Note from History
Saudi Arabia was one of the strongest supporters of Pakistan during Pakistan's wars with India, especially opposing the creation of Bangladesh from Pakistan's eastern wing in 1971

Help from Middle East for Pakistan
For example, in May 1998 when Pakistan was deciding whether to respond to India’s test of five nuclear weapons, the Saudis promised 50,000 barrels per day of free oil to help the Pakistanis cope with the economic sanctions

In the 1970s and 1980s up to 15,000 Pakistani troops were stationed in the kingdom, some in a brigade combat force near the Israeli-Jordanian-Saudi border. The close ties continue between the militaries today.

Trade between Pakistan and GCC member states in 2006 stood at USD 11 billion

;)

Why do we love Arabs and muslims cuz we are muslims :toast_sign:

Pakistan fully supports the proposal of the creation of an independent Palestinian state. Pakistan has also declined to recognise the state of Israel until the "liberation of Palestine" will take place

We will rise again - we will make a new Pakistan - A brighter Pakistan
Think about india? up or down? (is it now up or is it still down like Pakistan?)

hehehe kidding

Well I think it can not get any worse for pakistan than this. Economy gone, education system gone, health gone. Judiciary has an opportunity to be free and fair and this is one of the biggest plus in the last 50 years or so. Inshallah things will get better with every passing day.

Do not reply to the troll, we will see who has the last laugh.

We are still standing, aren't we and you always come out stronger when you have been through hell.

such people are still bitter about partition -- which I think was a bigger defeat to them than the prior conquests (when the land known today as india was actually most better off)

The reality is that although the common people everywhere want to live in peace and like each other the states act in their "national interests"

Pakistan has had historically good relations with only those Arab countries that were part of the American block in the Cold War. That includes Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey, Iran pre-Islamic revolution e.t.c. While India had good relations with countries that were "leaning" towards the soviets Egypt, Syria, Yasser Arafat's PLO and to an extent Iraq.

The collapse of the soviet union is now resulting in a re-arrangement of these traditional camps which IMO is still ongoing. Saudi-Indian relations and UAE-Indian relations and other GCC countries are a direct result of this. In 2009 India-GCC trade was around $100B. Turkey is another country were relations have improved significantly. Turkey and Iranian relations were actually also a result of the common co-operation in aiding the Norther Alliance or the United Islamic Front in Afghanistan in the 1990s. However, Jordan-Indian relations still are pretty quiet.
