I consider all of them traitors. Musharraf, Zardari family, Nawaz family, Bajwa, Imran, Malala. All of them agents of foreign masters, waiting to sell Pakistan at every opportunity they can get. This is based on the actions they have taken over the years.
shehr'e jaana mein ab basafa kaun hai?
They represent you collectively as the Pakistani people - regardless of whatever you protest as not true Pakistan. Everything including these corrupt leaders or Malala or the pedophiles of kasur came from Pakistan. They came from the same soil and reflect who Pakistanis are.
You have nothing other than words for them and tolerate them, or in your case like myself aren’t really a part of that society anymore despite whatever concerns to provide.
Zardari ruled over Pakistan and no mass revolt took place regardless of open corruption. Meaning Pakistanis were by a large majority ok with it as part of society. So your support or non-support or mine objecting to them is
irrelevant .
One could blame the poor on keeping them in power but that would be a lie. The educated ones support Nawaz and Zardari too. Musharraf held rallies with the richest elite and even PTI was put in place by a hopeful middle class that now gave up once it turned to the usual centers of power.
Reap what you sow.
Who is correcting Imran Khan? Or the COAS? Is everyone a proverbial eunuch in Pakistani circles of power? Does that mean all Pakistanis are eunuchs too other than online rants because they are ok with eunuchs in power?
So now, which educated Pakistani has ever really organized a movement to discuss Afghanistan policies with even their local MNA? None, those people speak to their voting base in the poor majority areas who only care for a plate of biryani and like these MNA’s cant tell Panjshir from Parachinar.
Even if they did speak to this MNA, what would he/she even do in the first place?
Even passengers on a cruise liner have more power than the passengers on the ISS Pakistanic.
Majority in Pakistan barring election days are apathetic to what their elected or selected officials do. Other than those very few having connections to others in power and used to threatening “Mein dekh lun ga tujhe” there is no semblance of accountability happening from a citizens perspective.
To top it off, every other Pakistani thinks they are next to Huzoor S.A.W in terms of god’s mercy in earth and prepared to provide “expert” opinion and when questioned go straight to personal attacks because they don’t have anything of actual substance to give. At best an educated banker will start googling after saying he is an expert in cryptocurrency and providing gibberish as an answer when asked about the impact of legalizing it as an alternative to currency in South Asia.
What if it turns out Imran Khan is being asked to do this by Moeed Yusuf? Would that be acceptable then or will he be declared out of the circle of Islam as well because that conflicts with “expert” opinions. Or can we question him based on another informed individual contradicting his approach? What is the criteria of an informed individual for Pakistanis? A PHd in biochemistry but no relevant experience or education in geopolitics, or their Pakistan Studies coursebook from some point in education or the local Maulvi paraphrasing end of time predictions?
It took a friend of mine three days and help from our PDF admin on Facebook through other sources to create a massive movement 7 years ago. When ghastly rapes can get people riled up and massive corruption, nepotism and geopolitical issues cannot, it means people are not educated enough on them or most of them don’t care.
Which of the factors does everyone think really is the cause for where Pakistan stands today?
