ISLAMABAD: A statement attributed to Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz in the full Senate Chamber pertaining to arrested Indian Intelligence Agency RAW’s operative Kulbhushan Yadav is absolutely incorrect, the Foreign Office spokesman said on Wednesday.

The Adviser had said that investigations regarding the network of Kulbhshan Yadav are ongoing and the dossier shall be completed upon conclusion of the investigation. There is irrefutable proof against Kulbhushan Yadav, who had also made a public confession in March this year.

The Adviser also condemned the continued Indian interference in the internal affairs of Pakistan and urged the international community to take immediate notice of the violation of international law by India.

=====

P.S.: Looks like NS wants to release Kulbhshan Yadav and waters were tested through Sartaj Aziz's statement. Seeing the strong reaction, FO released this clarification.

This is official confirmation that some one has to rectify his statement. This is a proof that he made the statement of having no evidence.

No matter how many times it's gets rectified but the truth is out. There are no evidences.

Good for some while it lasted. Back to reality now.

We know what Dawn and Geo do ... and these two released this news .. and they are known to release fabricated and twisted news.

he is going to be executed very soon like other terrorists.

Indian Source

Still, if India thinks that fake/incorrect Geo story, for which the media outlet is famous, is correct and reliable then must contact UN, International Court etc for Kulbhushan release and may quote Sartaj Aziz directly for saying such as the spy wouldn't be taking a free walk by posting lie in media.

No actually the Pakistani newspaper published fair story but as usual Indian media twisted the fact and changed the meaning of the whole story

I wanted to close the parralel thread but too lazy as the lies of Indian media and manipulating with words happens almost everyday so one starts getting irritated after daily practice

All he said is, evidence is still being gathered... Indian media claimed no evidence is found

India medias misquoted by saying there is no conclusive evidences. Whether they did it on purpose or due to ignorance of not reading between the lines properly is debatable. That's why they are joke and always will be. To the extent, their integrity as news media is compromised big time.

Every Pakistani medias claimed that the investigation is still collecting evidences. Apparently in Indian world, collecting evidence means no conclusive evidences.

Exactly. It is words in the play.

he is going to be executed very soon like other terrorists.

It is better if he is kept alive as the reminder of the true nature of India government and its intel networks.

the problem is with your AFAIK bit ...

oh well this is why DAWN controversy took place where the notice was served to DAWN.

evidence is still being gathered

Tell us where are those evidences of him being an operative that led to his arrest. At least prove he was present on Pakistani territory during the time of kidnapping.

Pakistan would have not awaited for next second to release the documentation of evidences if they had any. .

Genius, why don't you tell how a potential spy is identified/spotted by intelligence agencies?

Are you trolling on purpose even though i gave you the answers in other thread?

Pakistan would have waited until the investigation is completed. Because Pakistan is not India where the judgement are made first and investigation occurs later. Pakistan is doing what the whole world does; collecting the evidences.

An operative that looked like Indian is caught illegally trespassing on Pakistani side of Balochistan with Iranian passport that restricts him within Iranian territorial regions only. That alone is enough to book him for suspicious charges, and the investigation with the fully cooperating of Iran that issued suspect with Iranian visa should confirm or deny the suspicious grounds on the suspect that is currently being held. :D

Genius, why don't you tell how a potential spy is identified/spotted by intelligence agencies?

I doubt he will use the example of pigeon who is currently being held on grounds for spying. :D

Geo + current gov. can the link between the two not be clearer??? have we forgotten Dawn leaks?

Pak media reported that Sartaj Aziz said there was no conclusive evidence agaist Kulbhushan Yadav.

NEW DELHI:
HIGHLIGHTS
  1. Sartaj Aziz reportedly said proof against Kulbhushan Yadav insufficient
  2. Pak arrested Kulbhushan Yadav in March on charge of espionage
  3. India has rejected claims that he works for Intel agency RAW

Pakistan has denied media reports that its Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz said the evidence against Kulbhushan Yadav -- a former Indian Navy officer kept in detention for alleged spying -- is "insufficient".

Mr Yadav has been under detention since his arrest on March 3, when he visited Pakistan from Iran.

It was reported that Mr Aziz, while addressing a full Senate chamber, said the dossier on Mr Yadav contained "mere statements". "It did not have any conclusive evidence," he was quoted as saying by Pakistan's Geo TV. "What the dossier contained was not enough. Now it is up to the concerned authorities how long they take to give us more matter on the agent," Mr Aziz reportedly said.

"The statement attributed to the Adviser is absolutely incorrect," said a Pakistan government spokesperson. "The Adviser had said the investigations regarding the network of Kulbhushan Yadav are ongoing and the dossier shall be completed upon conclusion of the investigation. There is irrefutable proof against Kulbhushan Yadav, who had also made a public confession in March this year."

Kulbhushan Yadav, a former officer of the Indian Navy was arrested in Pakistan on charges of espionage.

Mr Aziz, the spokesperson said, had also "condemned the continued Indian interference in the internal affairs of Pakistan". He also urged the international community to take immediate notice of the violation of international law by India, the spokesperson said.

The Pakistan Army had released what they called a "confessional video" of Mr Jadhav, in which he is seen saying that he is working for India's top intel agency, RAW, is still with the Indian Navy and is due to retire in 2022.

The Centre has said the video has "no basis in fact". That the individual claims to make the statements of his own free will not only challenges credulity but clearly indicates tutoring," a statement by the Foreign Ministry had said.

India has said that Mr Yadav had been running a legitimate business in Iran. "Our enquiries reveal that he apparently was being harassed while operating a legitimate business from Iran. While we probe this aspect further, his presence now in Pakistan raises questions, including the possibility of his abduction from Iran," the government said.
