Startling revelations: IS operative confesses to getting funds via US

Hi,

It is as easy as transferring funds thru western union---anybody can do that---. Establish an account----send the money---send a text with the password to pickup the money---. Just because it is coming from the U S----does not mean it has anything to do with the state.

The state does not deliver money in this manner----I mean to say---give some credit to the U S---they are more used to sending PALLETS full of dollars than electronic transfers.

I wish all Americans had half the brain you have.

Am suggesting increased levels of surveillance. Not just that, but do it publicly as well. People seems to be offended at US government's inaction that allowed terrorists to exploits institutional gaps in our financial system. So maybe we could assuage their anger by making our commitment public, no ?

I am for it. I am also aware of Anti-US sentiment despite US assistance to our security forces. F-16s have been pivotal. To tell you honestly, your Govt did not play perception management correctly. They could not figure out how Pakistani society works. Admittedly, Pakistanis too have no clue how US society works. Thus the suspicions.

Publicly doing it has it deterrence value. I agree.

And Kerry wore a black trenchcoat and wide brim hat.

Does this mean we now have tacit permission to monitor mosques and the local Muslim communities even more aggressively than before ?

Whats so surprising getting funds from US?

ISIS is predominantly European and Arab. It means someone did recruit from Europe to make these individuals fight for ISIS. Funds from US could be coming from US citizen preaching radicalism. This is no surprise. No one is saying funds coming from US govt.

Heard the guy named Jihadi John? He is a British. Which means he was recruited in and sent from Britain.

Excellent...From now on, we can dismiss ALL criticisms of US security policies that may involve local Muslim communities. At least on this forum anyway.

Hi,

You need to thank LYNDI ENGLAND and her security guard boy friend for that. Remember who she is---the woman with a german shepherd on a leash---naked Iraqi men shown in a heap laying down on one another---abu ghraib---famous American female torturers----with ketchup on their panties----and licking their fingers after running their finger on their panties to disgust muslim prisoners to show them that they were on their period and licking blood----amongst many other things.

Ultimate stupidity of degrading and humiliating soldiers and officers who had laid down their weapons. It would have better to have killed them than to put them thru humiliation---but the stupidity of the American military and itel services is at the same level as the size of their nation---totally brainless and no sense of the consequences---but ready to blame everyone else

.
@MastanKhan - the torture techniques and the crudeness and employed at abu ghraib were absolutely wrong and I am ashamed our country idiots did that.

It does not however extend beyond a tiny fraction of Americans. American military and intel services do make mistakes and are not perfect; you consider the scope of their responsibilities and the magnitude of some of their missions, the rate of failure is very very low. Unfortunately many of these failures stem from expectation of resolutions where political and economic steps had failed or were inadequate.

Sir,

I understand what you are saying----it was a small minority who screwed up. But the price is heavy. Personal hatred overcame professionalism. What gets to me is that it was not out of ignorance---but it was out of arrogance.
