Sri Lankan foreign minister accepts the legitimacy of No Fire Zone documentary evidence

The stupid foreign minister of Sri Lanka has accepted the legitimacy of the bogus channel 4 documentary in order to defame the former president of Sri Lanka. This fool doesn't know that his actions are defaming the image of the armed forces and Sri Lanka itself.

@Gibbs @Godman @samv what are your opinion on this matter.

In fact, according to the information we have the video footage is not only authentic but was given to Channel 4 by members of the armed forces who themselves were deeply shocked at some of the acts carried out as a result of orders from above.

What is the truth? The channel 4 documentary was proved as bogus. The current foreign minster is using it as a tool to extract political vendetta against the former president.

SL hasnt accepted anything, how can you accept anything that you have no solid evidence to?

SLG has been asking CH4 to give the original video and they will investigate and take actions. But CH4 did not do that.

How many actually know CH4 has links with LTTE funders?

Sri Lanka did what was needed to be done, it used massive force to destroy LTTE, and while doing so some human rights violations were done. But then its the case with every war, I don't know of any conflict or war were human rights were not violated. Its upto Sri Lanka now to make amends or ignore it and look the other way.

But then its the case with every war, I don't know of any conflict or war were human rights were not violated. Its upto Sri Lanka now to make amends or ignore it and look the other way.

It is possible that human rights could've being violated at the end of the struggle. But it's rather baseless to accuse Sri Lankan government forces of genocide or purposeful human right violation of Tamil civilians. No one knows certain for what has exactly happened then and therefore no should make claims like this much killed and that much killed. The campaign to accuse Sri Lanka of HR violation is a purposeful effort by the Western communities to tarnish Sri Lanka's and the former President Mahinda Rajapaksha's image.
