What do u mean? Does your word have any sense at all? SL and TN are barely separated at all. Its easily accessible by the simplest of boats.

Don't beat yourself to death. It is only Sinhalese that think about the country and the minorities. Tamils and Muslims do not think likewise. They think only about themselves. This fact is shown abundantly clear in the last election. Sinhalese divided on the fact good governance and political stability but Tamil and Muslims made a block vote to over throw Mahinda.

First of all. The shortest possible distance between Sri Lanka and India is 32 km.

And the closest kingdom for the Jaffna Tamils were at Anuradhapura not Tanjore or Madurai. So there was ample reason for Tamils to mingle with Sinhalese other than Tamils who lived far away.

There is no evidence to believe that early Sinhalese were Hindu other than the fact that you believe any one worship a religion except the 4 main ones to be Hindu.

You are kidding right?!! Look at the Muslims who sacrificed their life in the war against LTTE. Nizam Muthaliff who was exposed by a Sinhalese traitor (Ranil) comes to my mind. So are the Tamils like Lakshman Kadiragaman. The issue with Muslims is the current trend of isolation otherwise historically (when they were liberal), they have contributed to the country. There's plenty of such people if you want to find. If we discriminate against all minorities, then the chances will be that we will not find anyone from a minority background who will be loyal to the country and we will create a mess where we can forever stay as a 3rd world shithole. So this is why I am saying, we should provide equality every loyal loyal Sri Lankan citizen given that he/she contributes to the interest of the country and at the same time we severely punish those who work against the interest of the country.
